Hmm okay...

And 1 more question. Recently I bought a Probox powerbank 7800mAH (1 month ago)... It stated 780mAH, but when I charge my phone I only able to get 2 complete charges for my Note 2 which is 3100 x 2 = 6200mAH only. Is it something wrong or what? But yeah, I admit it charge much for faster (2 hours 13%-100%) than my stock Samsung 2A charger... (which take around 2.5 hours)
*
Nothing was wrong. your phone battery capacity is big.
efficiency for powerbank will not reach 100%

7800x3.7/5=5772 mAh only(max)

Managed to get one during this week's sale. It shipped out from HK this afternoon and then dropped by to Taiwan around 6 PM, and as of now, it has just departed from Philippines. Perhaps the shipment is including shipment for orders to these two countries too. Or maybe Cost saving route by UPS. Hopefully it'll be in Malaysia by tomorrow(Friday)
*
FYI, this is the 1st batch route. Should be the same as the 3rd batch too. After ShenZhen next destination is Malaysia rclxms.gif

Two units of Xiaomi Powerbank only costs RM72. And max only buy 2 in one order, not enough to reach RM75...sigh...

Does this mean I'll have to pay extra RM15 shipping fee? Or is it just free delivery as long as you buy two units? Can anyone outside from Klang Valley help confirm this?
*
there is another friend here from sabah buy 2 unit and get free delivery. I think above RM70 is free delivery for all area.

Hi,

Nice info for the powerbank..

Recently I bought Pineng  PN-903, I'm using the 2.1A output port to change my Galaxy S4 and Note 2..however, the output is not up to expectation..just wondering is that normal?

Pls take a look at the photo..

[attachmentid=4005604]

It's only 1200mA using the 2.1A port..  rclxub.gif
*
For your information, the rated 2.1A output is the maximum current output.
Your phone can withdraw 500mA, 1000mA, 1500mA or other amount of current.
Normally 0-80% the charging rate is fast, 80-100% will become slower and slower. biggrin.gif

The S4 and Note 3 will only show 1200 if it is left on for more than 3 seconds after screen on. Within approx 3 seconds of screen on it will show 1800.

Note 2 should show 1800 if the port outputs 2.1A.

I wonder those apps can measure the input current exactly ?? blink.gif

nice post... another question dunno you can answer or not

my iphone 5 battery... the indicator at the phone is it accurate? it was accurate when it is new...

now i think it is wear out slowly after 1 year of heavy torturing it (350-400 charge cycle)

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

*
The capacity will reduced as cycle count increases.
Those battery indicate that it has cycle count of 500 doesn't mean that it also can charge for 500 times
But around 500 times the capacity of the battery will reduced, reduced by how much I not sure. smile.gif

Can a 10400mAh powerbank be used to charge a 9800mAh battery capacity tablet?
*
Sure, no problem. It is not necessary to charge until it full.

I never use Pineng but I heard Pineng is one the best PB.

Maybe you get the bad apple.

I will share the latest test result for Pineng 11200mAh again, to see the different after 1 year + of usage.

I post on FB asking Pineng user, there is mixed results, some say OK, some say slow.
*
Slow charging ?
Do you mean the time required to charge the powerbank ? 11200mAh is really big capacity. 1A charger required more than 12 hours while 2A charger required more than 6 hours charging time.

Do you mean the time required to charge the phone? Because if you are using data cable, the charging rate will be slower. That is USB charging. If you are using charging cable to charge the phone (data pin shorted), it will provide AC charging, which is fast.

Thank you for the informative thread TS.

Any idea why the 1A output statistics look weird for the Xiaomi powerbank? Please do share.
*
ya it really look weird for the statistics.
May be the next test I attach 2 multimeter to monitor the voltage and current flowing. thumbup.gif
