QUOTE(mengsuan @ May 14 2013, 02:06 AM) The feeling is good when you drive it but I'd still advise not to take corners too hard although it feels good. mengsuan, u sure forte can corner steadily on those high speed? There was once I cruise about 170kmh on highway, slowly a wild Kia Forte inched closely to overtake me, so I just followed him at 170-180 calmly all the way. I saw him take a corner at this speed confidently so I did the same; I had a bad time steering and counter steering while the tyres screeched in desperation. Luckily it was a rather good handling Persona, I took the corner fine but I think I won't do such thing again. I could have crashed if I were in another car like Myvi. last time my car lost to forte 1.6 on acceleration, i really hoped future i can overtake in cornering area if got chance play with my friend. but i think it would be impossible as he loves to play fast cornering also. usually passenger's butt will get throw aside when he drive cornering at roundabout no matter van, polo, or forte. But I heard from a colleague that it could cause warping when exposed to the sun for some time? is it true? Any one know where I can get the original skirts with lower price? Proton is expensive.

i thought PU better thn fiber ?
Pu hard to break but hard to repair fiber easy break but easy repair Pu heavier thn fiber Pu more expensive thn fiber Pu once break most probly need to change whole set new fiber break can repair, but fiber even kena stonechip also will crack these are what preve people tell me la cause i also installing bodykit ABS or PP is the better choice if got budget This post has been edited by Manlet: May 15 2013, 02:13 AM |

Usually What I seen is spoiler which normally uses PU to make and they warp a bit since they directly facing the sun. But side skirting not sure does it warp easily or not. If scared then try to get back original one which normally made out of pp+pe |
