just received my RT today...the device looks freakin amazing...i love the built quality oso...WTA...at first startup...how many hour should we charge it??

is there any other way to install own windows application or must go thru app store?

Yeah, that's true, even now people complain about the price, totally forgetting that unlike the iPad you're not buying an appliance but rather a full PC! If it was a core i7 and reaches RM4k then people would complain even more!

i am still consider to get one surface here, i found it surface rt is more towards to use on microsoft office, more towards to business or student ppl. but the price really attractive.

i going to finish my study soon... and i m not a office heavy user. just too attract to the price and the microsoft stuff. haha... this surface look so "yeng" and price also "good". actually this surface is good just the problem is there are too too too little apps in the windows market.

After using the surface for a while, I noticed that the metal kickstand only allows perfect viewing at a certain angle and most of the time I am not in that angle.

Was wondering if there is any cover that can help stand the tablet a different angle depending on the circumstances? I think I found find a pouch useful now to prevent the beautiful metal from being scratched.

I need some advice from RT user.  I am thinking of getting RT for my wife because she need something like a laptop that use Microsoft Explorer which is the only browser support by Kenanga Investment Bank mobile remisier platform. 

So the question is whether the RT have full Explorer with flash or Java support that will be compatible?

Just gt my surface rt 2 days ago. pretty happy with it but I am facing 1 issue with it. web surfing could be better. frustrated when I connect to a public wifi and it could not load the page where I need to log in to use the internet. any advice from the pros here?

some can some cannot. my campus 1 can, starbucks can but at nandos no. i tried using my android phone it works.

That sums up why Surface RT just can't make it with millions of write off from Microsoft.

However with the merge of Nokia and Microsoft, tegra 4 processor comparable with high end Snapdragon, I believe ARM = RT is here to stay, and will improve discreetly in this coming one year. Hopefully I still able to enjoy it with my surface rt, not Surface 3 or Nokia Tablet. Lol.
Lol they decided to make a 16+hour running time for Surface 2? Surface RT lack of the 2 "unknown" connectors unlike surface pro, going to miss out with the cover, dun tell me they have new colours

dont think they know, they broke driver seat window, took some coins + smart tag and then po th trunk to take my running shoes , gym bag and the Pro was inside the gym bag

already sold off my RT due to underutilized...yeah..i admit the RT is a great device and it will serve more purpose than what i use it for..that's why i'm selling it...

not looking to buy any tablet soon but surface 2 maybe?hahah
