Plantation as long as don't fall flat on their faces is already good enough. But then again.. plantation like First Resources actually reported +20% earning year on year, so it could have a surprise or two..
First Resources latest quarter report is at 31st Mar 2013?

For plantation you need to see the locations as well, some location is much more fertile and FFB yield + OER can have 20%-30% differences.
Most fertile locations.
1. West Semenanjung - Perak/Selangor
2. Sabah - East Coast (Tawau, Kunak, Lahad Datu)
3. Kalimantan - South/East Kalimanatan
4. Sumatera Utara (Central + East)
5. Riau (Eastern near Dumai)
6. Palembang (Southern incl. Bangka Island)
In fact Indonesia is generally approx 10-20% more fertile than Malaysia...
If i'm not mistaken, Johor land is one of the fertile land in Peninsula, Kelantan and Terengganu has the lowest OER and FFB yield
