Thanks again for your reply.

I suspected that too, maybe there is something compatibility issue with Windows 8.
Just wondering if there are other users also encountered similar problem and solved it. rclxub.gif

Good day to all.

Pure White reporting in.

Got it from Digi Alamanda .

not much complaining so far as rm50 only.
But regrettably it is incompatible with MiHome Launcher.
(sigh... such an awesome launcher. MiUI based)

for those who are looking for the manager software,

Yea I installed the onetouch manager and problem solved. Thank you!

Now new problem is however, I failed to root. The phone rebooted 2 times during rooting with ishuaji and then when the third time, the phone reboot and immediately ishuaji informed me that the rooting failed.

My procedure is actually quite simple, I installed onetouch manager, then UniversalAdbDriverSetup, then ishuaji.
I did not mess with the superuser thing. Anyone knows what problem is this?

You dear Sir, are awesome. notworthy.gif

This is my 1st android, and that didnt even cross my mind to ignore the incompatible apk.
I knew that incompatible ROM can bricked the phone.
Guess not the same with apk.

Successfully installed MiHome. rclxms.gif

Anyone kind enough to do a thorough step by step for unbloated-stripped-down version of this little gem?

The RAM usage is is quite high. i wonder what kind of bloatware is straining it.

talking about RAM, this phone come with lot of bloatware.. traffic manager, battery saver, wireless keyboard, alcatel help, etc.. if u have root ur phone, u can remove this n sure it will give u extra ram..

n for me, i just install line, wechat, whatsapp n viber on this phone.. due to maintain RAM usage.. biggrin.gif
n until now, my alcatel smooth after all.. thumbup.gif

hmm... will see what those bloatwares are effecting 1st.

For other user, if you guys dont want to root, but still want to transfer certain apps,
or even want to install directly from google play store to SD card,
then this is your alternative solution.

Tested and Proven. (by me. for this alcatel and galaxy ace)

Ya after I saw yours comments I tried again. Double checked USB debugging and mock location are ticked, changed USB port, disconnected and reconnected. Tried like 15 times. Still no hope.

But then, finally, I read back your comment again, and I disabled Kaspersky, and voila! Success in the first attempt! biggrin.gif
Thank you!!! notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Thank you I tried restart many times too, both my PC and the phone. But at last I solved by installing the manager program. Thanks!

I installed superuser, but when I use Titanium Backup to uninstall CallerTunes 1.01, it say "Cannot remove system app, failed to locate the apk file".
When I use Link2SD, it say "Uninstall not successful".

Any workaround for this?

goto the chinese superuser, then scroll down to ROOT ( u will see ROOT spelled along with chinese characters ), inside there make the superSU have a green tick, then reboot
