Hi. I got a 4011x and been using it to connect to the internet using a Celcom 3G SIM card. I frequently get this error: "Authentication via the proxy server was unsuccessful" when surfing using:
- Chrome
- Stock Android browser
- Google Play
- Youtube

However, Opera Mini is working fine without any such error. I'm very sure it has something to do with the phone setting because if I tethered out this Alcatel to other devices, they can use it without any error at all. I wonder anyone here having this issue too?

EDIT: Already fixed. Turned out that the default APN setting has proxy IP set there. I cleared it and it doesn't have this error any more.

i am just curious and wonder why digi changed my plan from smart prepaid to easy prepaid automatically. Anyone experiencing this too? Anyway, I already moved to umobile which is much better lol. They have unlimited internet after quota even though it is slow. Better than nothing.
