Yup. If he comes, then he will be CF and Dannyboy has to play behind him and run all over the places like what Luis is doing now. If Dannyboy is injured then Couts or Captain G has to do it. Not sure Borini can do that for us or not.

in every system (even the mighty Barcelonafc employs) there will always be a weakness. which is why having only 1 rigid play can be restrictive. i know a lot have been debated & why we should emulate barcelona way of play.

It's all about being in a system that fits them. He had a lot of time at Inter but didn't work out. Work on his physique and more games, he will be a great player. Somehow, i find Liverpool's play a bit more exciting after LS got banned..lol. With Luis, you kinda know 90% of the time he's gonna dribble/nutmeg.

Now that we talk about transfer, I wouldn't be surprise if Assaidi leaves in the summer. He is decent enough to makes it on bench but BR reluctant in doing so. He only makes bench in last few matches cos we have nothing to fight for.

3. Spearing (heard a number of clubs interested in him after his performance for bolton)
4. Coates

Few names that linked with us that I think would add quality
1. Eriksen
2. Digne
3. Toby Alderweireld
4. Raul Albiol

Eriksen is one hell of talent and if we could get him, it would be nice. But the fact that we are kinda packed in the middle means it's hard to get him unless we loan Shelvey/Suso out. Or the alternative would be playing Coutinho on the left like he did b4 Suarez get banned or playing Henderson on the right.

As for Digne, if we are getting him, that means either

1. Robinson is up for loan or
2. Enrique is moving to left winger position where he works well with Coutinho and Suarez or
3. the least likely scenario would be Enrique would be sold... I would bet on the first two options though.

Between Raul Albiol and  Toby Alderweireld, I would prefer  Toby Alderweireld but Albiol seems more experienced.

Like I said, it could also mean that Enrique moves forward since he has been better attacking and good link up with Suarez and COutinho. Digne and Robbo can fight for the leftback spot whereby underperformance by either one could see themselves being replaced by Downing or Enrique.
