QUOTE(carloz28 @ May 30 2013, 05:29 PM) I see a lot of fans here debating about the imminent departure of Suarez. Latinos are fond of RM/Barca, so no surprises there. If there's CL then there shouldn't be any probs finding replacements. Trouble starts without CL football. It's ok, but I'm already worrying about Coutinho's departure now 2-3 years down the road. FSG's Arsenal Model of Football Business. Bleak future for Liverpool now. On another note, if Reina goes, how abt getting Friedel in for short term???that unker wont cost much & dislodged by the French keeper at Spurs. & get Fraser forster as understudy Wishful thinking...I know |

QUOTE(bitebug @ May 31 2013, 02:02 PM) Looking at the Alonso situation in Madrid this is probably the best they'll agree & we'll accept. 40mil + Alonso is a good deal realistically. Anything involving their B team players shouldn't even be considered. Btw can pls shared out ur siggy...the bigger the reso the better |

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ May 31 2013, 01:44 PM) Oh well, judging by how they manage to keep the Boston Red Sox successful, I'm content with our owners Well what is the American fav past time again? Of cos they're going to make Red Sox at the very least competitive, they're American afterall, with passion for baseball. In BR's case, if we can't trust our manager to get his own players and his playing methods, then whom shall we trust? Aren't we all Shebby Singh(s) here? All these talks about signing, don't sign him, sell him and don't sell him. Shebby Singh, remember him? Most criticised BR for signing Daniel Sturridge, how? Some said Coutinho won't do well, how? He's had his blunders as well when it comes to signings, Allen and Assaidi notably. But who hasn't? Rafa with his Josemi, Jan Kromkamp, Lucas(back then), Morientes, Zenden, Paletta, etc. as well. Who would have known, had he signed Gareth Barry we would have gotten our no. 19 already? But football??? If I'm being cynical, it can be argued that once they got what they want or cut losses, they can brush their back side off & cross the Atlantic for good which they cant with Red Sox. I've never trust Woy & most the supporters don't either & we're proven right, ain't it?? It just that we have no choice but to support the club whoever the board employed not like we can change team in a snap. As for BR, he still haven't proven himself result or tactical wise. Some may said our possession football shown great improvement & pleasing to the eyes but still didn't Swansea & Wigan have the same gameplay??? Until & unless he find a solution to penetrate teams, we won't be challenging titles anytime soon. Still unfathomable that for someone that studied football for as long as him won't or don't have Plan B. Thats just irresponsible. Even in everyday life we all have a Plan b if things don't go right, whats more in football. |

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ May 31 2013, 03:45 PM) Damaged was done by Woy, Kenny came back and sort of improved our game play. We regressed while our rivals have improved. Ditto but it doesn't help that somehow FSG is quite mysterious/secretive in their operatives in Merseyside. Just worried they maybe another Tom & Jerry despite their sweet talk. 2nd half of the season we did improve after all, scoring goals and getting clean sheets. I'm not saying that we should be content with what we have and we should all support BR blindly. But after lagging for 2 seasons, I do think that BR deserves more time than just 1 season to steer us back to the right direction. Plus, I'm just thankful that FSG saved us I'm paranoid edi by their (tom & Hick) reign |

Hope Suarez leaves on the club terms, not his or future employer terms
& I have more beef on MAsch leaving than Suarez. In Masch case, for f*** sake, saying homesick after playing in Europe/EPL for 4-5 years??? Then don't sign long term contracts, b****!!! This post has been edited by vreis: Jun 1 2013, 11:28 PM |

QUOTE(n0v4m4r1n3 @ Jun 3 2013, 01:40 AM) Also WHU looks set to sign both Andy Carroll(£15m) and Botak Jon (£5m) this week! Jonjo highly rated wor, comes in as SG replacement, so fast offload???somemore for mere 5mil???Multiple sources confident of us sealing both Eriksen and Alderweireld over PappaRoti QUOTE(skeleton202 @ Jun 3 2013, 07:24 AM) i will not take erriksen as big signing.. he's kind player who stay 3season and go... abit mercenary.. rather go fo that shakhtar guy mhiktayan Fact is unless Reds starts challenging for titles, not only top 4, we'll always be a stepping stone for players |

Maybe unleash the shackle on Hendo?? That kid got a nice finishing touch, but not shot power, play him slightly higher up the park & snapping the heels of defence & dm since he got good engine as well.
Unless Aspas hit the ground running, dont think he'll be much more than squad player & we dont have much games next season to begin with The likes of Suso, Wisdom, Robinson, Flanagan et all will be most affected |

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Jun 12 2013, 11:37 AM) You know, Suarez needs to man up. Sure it's ugly. But being a footballer, it's hard to know the idiots from then real fans. It's difficult to run away. Things like this may follow him all the way to Spain (if he goes there). It would be naive to say 'running away' he doesn't face pea brain idiots. I think every key players of teams suffer from this, just like Rooney comes back to Merseyside, I'm sure he'll get "good" treatment from the supporters of Red or Blue. Beats me how he even wanna go Manchester to shop when there's malls ard Merseysides. He has to learn to laugh it off. It's not gonna easy. Otherwise he can turn stone cold & reject all fans request. But that's the thing, you lose all interaction with real fans, people that look up to you or are genuinely good natured ones. I know it's probably easier said then done, but looking at it I think it's the only way. I really thinks someone whom Suarez still look up highly should talk to him. (Dalglish? Perhaps?) indirectly from Liverpool but from a standpoint a friend/mentor. He don't suppose he'll get support from neutral or other clubs fans, not with his unbecoming behaviour & his obvious talents which don't benefit their teams. Even if he's in RM, the paparazzi there also the same as is in Munich which was once known as Hollywood FC. No matter where he goes, he'll face the same thing with the press. Me thinks his reasoning is only a smokescreen to hide his desire to go. QUOTE(bearbear @ Jun 12 2013, 11:45 AM) root cause?Suarez himself. Prob is RM wanna bully us into selling him for cheap....since they always got charity from us. Just like how those RM fans said Alonso not worth 30mil but change their tune to priceless once he's in RM The club and the fans stand by him for all his actions and there is as good as we can do. He is really giving me the feeling of a certain balotelli now. Just let him go if the right offer come and move on. We played pretty good football without him for last 4 games |
