Tiny units.. Expensive price..

and UOA build quality is very bad.

the lining at the sink come out after 6 months. door handle get lose after 6 months. also pipe leaking after 3 months.

don't even know why, we are careful tenants.

UOA better at making offices than residential condos.

Recently visited a 810+sf 2 room unit rented out rock bottom rental that's less than rm2100

Pros:
very good layouts for the 2 room units that can comfortably fit 2-3 people although it lacks a yard
toilets are very well speced
lifts are adequate with high zone and low zone
good location in Bangsar South
high ceilings

Cons:
very high dense with tonnes of people walking in and out which leads to problem 2
security is questionable as you can easily tailgate people right into the lifts as the main doors (2 tiers worth of security) are almost always being opened
corridors have strong rubbish smell even at night which means that the refuse room is not being managed properly one can easily hear what's going on upstairs n downstairs probably due to narrow ceilings

Overall the place just feels very crowded but if rental is cheap it's a good place for tenants.

Can't imagine the place when Novum and SouthLink VPs.

any more land nearby for future residential / commercial development?
worry that with Kl gateway, Southlink, southbank and novum huge supply, the rental will be competitive.

3 phase of goodwood
Plot of land beside novum
Plus southlink that will be vp next year
Rental was very competitive last 2 years
Wonder is it still relevant to invest in property in bangsar south

I am currently staying in Southview Serviced Apartment...i am so regret that i have just signed the (1) ONE Year tenancy Agreement and paid my deposit...

Cons:

1) The Ceiling is either too thin or narrow that i can hear whats is going on upstairs and downstairs very clearly... especially my upstairs ( He/She wakes up every night at 12am and start her daily activites... so frustrating)

2) The Piping system is tremendously lousy as the Built-in pipe for the unit is way too small than the ordinary size... always having the pipe clogged problem. ( Especially when you are using the Washing machine....the water rushed out from the Washing machine is way faster than the water flow into the main pipe.... subsequently accumulated water will overflow and rise from the from the drain of your unit..... end up your floor will be flooded)

Am i the only one who has this problem or so does everyone else ??

Yea i just contacted my contractor to fix it.. But somehow it will clog again... Because the pipe is too small... Even my contractor told me the same thing
