Mostly occupied by tenants from Philippines, Pakistan, India, Vietnam and China (just look at the names of reviewers on Google Review) working from home so the wear and tear level is seriously serious.

There is also a significant number of international students staying so there will always be lingering smell along corridors from overnight cooking, if not noises from partying and smoking (oh gosh, hopefully not weed after enduring for at least a year).

The large number of useless vending machines at each tower entrance is not only an eyesore, but also unnecessarily reduce spaces for people to enter and exit. Hello fire safety! Food delivery and parcels will be filled up outside entrance like Lazada warehouse at Shah Alam.

When using the room toilet, remember to close eyes especially towards ceiling because the amount of mold is wild like Amazon jungle. Clogging is regular due to water outlet design flaw whereas leakages are happening due to narrow piping. Be prepared to grab your hair clumps from your shower area with your bare hands every week just to clear the clogging.

The entire apartment has 2 towers sharing 1,400 unit in total, (1,400 x 2 = 2,800) so there will easily be 3,000 people (at least 1,500 people in each tower). Talking about facilities, you better be ready to queue up starting from midnight just to touch the gym facilities. Each floor has 13-15 units sharing 4 lifts so peak hours would be an ultimate test of patience. Pray hard if you don't want to be late for work.

The so called large pool is directly facing Southlink which also has 1,400 units so exhibitionists could proudly show off their beach bodies to thousands of spectators whereas swimmers should maneuver carefully to avoid the numerous floating dried leaves and cigarette butts.

Owners are merely interested in rental collection and you'll never see them stay here. Can't imagine raising a family here. Maybe it's more suitable for a litter of kittens or puppies in view of the problem of littering.

The building was completed more than 5 years ago but can obviously see that owners are already desperately trying to cash out due to serious wear and tear by tenants and before capital value burns out.

In conclusion, ayamas like scott garden in the making.

Ha.. found you here. The person who has marvelous imagination and likes to bash and hate on all projects in Bangsar South (BS) he regretted not invested in. I begin to wonder if you are one of the earlier settlers in Pantai Dalam ? Surprisingly the apartments there have not appreciated much since the new BS came to join the party. Still the same advise from me - don’t be a victim of own’s delusions. Take care buddy.

Haha. Sourgrape is free again . Resell value speaks for itself. It’s better than he says she says.
Staying in landed properties will have similar issues when the drain is dry. But malaysia rains quite frequent, and there are many solutions to it. Affordable gadgets from Shopee can solve the drain smell issue regardless if it’s landed or apartment living if that’s a concern.
Sourgrape is always sour. That’s why they can’t see the bigger picture and can’t get their head around the little little things face by any residents in their properties. They will continue to whine and moan in life cycle. Too bad, so sad ….. take care uncle.

Go to any KL property threads, you guys will see this sourgrape being sour as usual. It’s unfortunate, he is feeling this way. Perhaps some unpleasant experience with some property gurus. Learn from experience, and move on. Lucky I didn’t pay hundreds or thousands to attend those classes. I started looking at properties since 2005. Current situation is different now. It pays to be careful. I got friends not making money and not able to rent out at the yield they wanted for their properties and they behave just like this aged sourgrape . All the best my dear sourgrape.

Just to clear up the air. innocent.gif I'm staying here for the pass 2 years+. Initially there were foul smells coming out from the drainage but after applied some lemongrass thingy (bought from shopee) the smell goes away until now.

Upside here is super convenient. Can reach most of KL within 30 mins, walking distance to KJL LRT which connects to some important dots. If you feel hungry but lazy to drive, can walk to KL Gateway or Southlink foodcourt laugh.gif
Downside (for some people, but ok for me) is the constant change of tenants as most of them staying here are UM students or expats. May experience change of neighbor in as short as 6 months time, hence there is no such thing as "community".

The thing I hate the most here is the parking and the turtle lift lol bangwall.gif

Oh this one I'm not worried about. The management here is tip-top. Prompt response, and very responsible for all the maintenance and complaint matters. I would give them a 5 star for managing the building, including the lift.

Exactly. I’m retired since 2019. But our DR M still working at age 98, I’m ashamed to retire so early. Now adays you get judged for retiring early. 🤣

Not defending but rather guiding you because you seems to be in the dark zone - can’t see the light. Not everything is grey my son.

No worries. Foul smell is common in any high rises including landed properties. Some maintenance is required.

I have Neighbour who likes dogs and flush its poo poo down the drain and stinks up the nearby houses. Sometimes Neighbour cat will poo poo in people garden or in ts flower pot if you spray anti cat solutions. Sometimes Neighbour cat will also give birth on your rooftop and one BB cat died and stink the landed house and owner needs to clean up. And guess what, the property is earning millions profit now. Life goes on.

Some people sweat over little little things. Aiyah….

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 — The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has confirmed that a collapsed drain had left a large hold on the ground at Jalan Pantai Permai in Kampung Kerinchi.

“Preliminary work such as the installation of safety ropes, water barriers, and cones was carried out at the site on August 26, 2024, at 10 pm,” it said on Facebook.
