Greetings fellow Nintendo Masters, I am currently thinking of purchasing a 3DS as my handheld device after some research by myself. There are some questions I would like to ask:

1. Is it worth the investment?
2. What upcoming or current games are hit? (Currently thinking of getting MH3U with the console, also awaiting Pokemon X/Y . Suggestions are welcome!)
3. Where can I get a decent deal? (Currently residing in Kota Damansara)

Currently these are the questions I have, if you have any more information about 3DS, feel free to post them here.

P.S: Please don't compare 3DS to PS Vita, I'm currently looking at 3DS without PS Vita in mind.

I feel depend what game you like to play.
There certain game exclusive for nintendo 3ds.
If you find there is lot game for 3ds you like then 3ds is good investement.
I currently using nontendo 3DS XL.
I enjoy playing professor layton.
I get it from impulse at lowyat forum.

Of course it's a good investment.
There are tons of games and I have like 10 more games to finish..
The problem are that games are sometimes a bit pricy and the 2nd hand value if you wanna sell them back are a bit low.

You should get MH3U on 3DS it's a great game. Keep in mind that you can online local play and not play multiplayer.. Don't be like me got a Wii U just to play MH3U online lol!

All games are really good.
My personal favourite is Fire Emblem Awakening, MH3U, Luigi's Mansion and Zelda Ocarina of Time.
Not one game on the 3DS is not worth the play IMO. Out of all the 10 games that I have, I am quite satisfied with eveyr single one of them.
Just don't get those animation movie games, and kids game (though some are still fun)

Take note about what version of 3DS you are getting as well since it's region lock. JP 3DS or US 3DS or Asia.

1. why need other people to tell you worth or not worth?
for me it's totally not worth owning a 3DS... why?? every time there's a nintendo direct I will be cursing my self why all those attractive game coming out so soon my wallet is not ready..

2. you told us that you already do the research then put your research in used.

3. Best deal usually comes online.. Here we got plenty of seller like Kyo, PBBseller, David and many many more... All of them give good deal...

1. I think my head (along with my wallet) will explode once I finally get myself a 3DS.

2. Just look around this subforum. Popular games are the one most people here talk about.

3. If you insist on physical shops. There're plenty reputable shops around 1Utama/ e@curve. Asia Games Channel and Gamer's Hideout just to name a few.
