need help asap..

yesterday I dont know why my phone suddenly stucked at Samsung Logo.. I didnt flash anything at all.. just suddenly feels laggy.. so I rebooted it.. and it stucked at Samsung Logo with Blue LED lights up..

tried enter Phil Touch Recovery ... failed.. flashed another recovery TWRP 2.5 ..fail to enter recovery n boot OS.. flashed newest firmware DMC3 via ODIN.. but still stucked at Samsung Logo..

Tried mskip toolkit.. able to boot into recovery using option 22 (boot option)..
>> delete partition
>> delete dalvik cache
no wipe has been done yet since stucked.. coz I need my data urgently!!..

any ideas? some said gotta wipe all.. and install new ROM via KIES..

After you flash the stock rom if hung boot to recovery mode n wipe cache n data. Phone should boot well

but i want my old data.. huhuhu... last backup was 3 months ago.. huwaaaa..

at least while stucked at Samsung Logo.. can I browse and pull some file such as SMS and whatsapp? in partition \sdcard0\

I followed dr.ketan steps on Root with Advanced CWM, it shows the below when I flash using CWM on Step 2

Failed to verify wholefile signature
Signature verification failed

Tried download files thrice but still same error

Try to download againand switch off antivirus.antivirus may give u a false positive and delete something crucial.

Try to flash a stock rom. Do not wipe. Should be able to.

u know what.. my Flash Count already increased to 8 LOL..

Since u can boot into recovery , there is an option u can try BUT I never use this option before for Note2 . Go to mount and storage > mount /sdcard with your cable plug in . If the recovery suppprt , u should be able to access your memory card in recovery .

Great, my phone is screwed. When startup, it keep rebooting. Is time to go sammobile to download stock firmware!

Since there is no backup, I need recall hard to redo my layout, download apps and do my favorite setting. There goes my Sunday!

Like I said , I never try it for Note2 before . Some developers enable it for recovery , some don't . It's worth a shot , no harm trying since u r kinda out of option . Anyway , clearing data doesn't format your sd card if the files in your sd card is what u r worried about .

This is not a competition.
But we are just 6 months old with 21 versions while Note is already more than 1 year old approaching 2 years old with 26 versions now. Not too difficult.

Strange, it only keep rebooting when I tried going to CWM mode. It work fine when go to download mode and during normal startup. Do I still need to restore back to stock firmware?

At any rate, Note 2 thread is still in top 10 threads, since there are only 14 threads in total for Android that have more than 5 versions, and ONLY 8 threads with more than 10 versions.

Happened to me during my Note 1 days. Only choice is PC Odin and a stock reflash, OR some tar'd Odin flashable ROM.

You can try post 8 for pre-rooted, deodexed Stock by XDA as i9000.
