QUOTE(benny888 @ May 3 2013, 10:22 AM) Note 2 size comparison vs Pantech Vega No6 If Note 3 is as rumored to be 5.99, that should be about the same dimensions as the Vega 6. Will be good to see your review. Surprising to hear of UI lag, but then Nova should solve it right? S4 Pro is also the last generation (4mths ago) but should still be fine nonetheless. Will be doing a full comparison of it vs Note 2 over next few days Immediate impression gorgeous display vs Note 2 UI is not so smooth vs Note 2 Impressive hardware specs but will assess further Specs of Pantech : A 5.9 inch full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution IPS display. A Quad Core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB or on board storage and a microSDXC slot. A 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front facing one. The Pantech Vega No.6 is also LTE compatible and will pack a 3140 mAh battery. Comes with Android 4.1.2 [attachmentid=3422182] |

BTW, a somewhat pointless (IMHO) comparison between Note 2 and LG Optimus G Pro. Same sized screen though.
http://www.androidauthority.com/optimus-g-...numbers-201338/ Excerpt: One The number of styluses (or styli) included with the Note II. Positioned as more than just a phone, the Note II offers a whole of range business and creativity features which are augmented by using the S-Pen, this is something that the LG Optimus G Pro doesn’t even attempt to copy. ============== Note 3 with 5.99"+ screen |

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ May 3 2013, 01:20 PM) Theres this new feature on paranoid android rom which I find interesting. The halo feature https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vlrgCteDac...be_gdata_player its still in beta I think Supposedly some multi-window framework for all apps. The earlier one called Cornerstone was not approved by Google. This is probably in alpha state still I think. |

QUOTE(alexng2208 @ May 3 2013, 02:23 PM) but it seems that any maxis sim can suddenly get LTE, right? so if i slot my sim into an n7105, i will have LTE.... but my data capped 1.5GB kanasai who wanna swap 1 to 1 n7105 and n7100 sme QUOTE(antt00 @ May 3 2013, 02:31 PM) So this will be the year of LTE Lust? I wonder if Samsung will release the N3 with LTE out of the box HERE. H+ is typically fine actually, and higher speeds do make you consume your quota faster. |

QUOTE(antt00 @ May 3 2013, 02:36 PM) My work place got LTE so i want. Haha ok right. If you can't finish your current quota your usage pattern will likely remain the same. However you would be tempted to upsize your download consumption And i dun believe in "higher speeds do make you consume your quota faster". Whatever your speed you are gonna be monitoring your own usage. If you cannot finish current quota how can faster speed finish it. If you eat 10 chicken chop in 10 mins and you eat 10 chicken chop in 10 hours, you still eat 10 chicken chops. |

Actually (OT a bit but still relevant) speaking about food, I have a large appetite. However since portions in Malaysia are "normal" to us, I typically consume the normal Malaysian portion, plus maybe a little bit more sometimes. how can u eat so many chicken chops omg.. anyways, i'm 100% with you on this, i don't care, i want LTE Then I was posted to the US for a while. The "normal" portion there is AT LEAST 1.5x ours, and very often it can be 2x the Malaysian portion. I ended up getting used to the NORMAL US portion and gained quite some weight. Then I came back. Well, for the first few months I HAD to eat the normal US portion before slowly forcing myself to stop and revert to the Malaysian portion. So there. Availability of plenty CAN change your usage/consumption patterns. |
