the glove thing would be useless years ago during my studying years..
ish.. what la u spoil the market. now we talking DC-HSPA

[attachmentid=3418141]

just in case joytest think i'm pulling his legs
*
The idiom is always in the singular - leg

Anyway, the CRC pic you quoted this morning which you said you wanted a can to clean your stuff.

So do you want one? It's useful for cleaning electronics, leaves no residue.

Well, I'm fine with HSPA/DC-HSPA speeds. I don't do youtube or download large files on the move. Best left to land fiber smile.gif

Sorry, noob here.

Dunno the difference.

What's DC-HSPA from what i'm using?
*
DC-HSPA is double barreled HSPA ie nearly 4G. DC stands for "Dual Channel" IINM.

Oh, haven't got a memory card for it right now, so backup is kinda limited space after load from TB. Ppl tell me those black colour micro sd .. many are fakes. If we buy the 2 colour micro sd, usually they are genuine but a bit more expensive. Betul ker ni?
*
Sandisk is the 2 tone card. Get from reputable outlets, it's about 190-200 for 64Gb Class 10. 32Gb is half the price.

hahaha... well, not sure la if your black card is not genuine. It is the camera shop in lowyat, beside the escalator guy who told me. My dad went and bought 2 tablets from them, so he try to sell his micro sd also 32GB at RM120 (2 tone sandisk). When I said others were cheaper, he told me that.
*
The black ones are probably the Class 4 or Class 6. Some of the very early Class 10's were likely black too before they decided to rebrand for differentiation.

However there are fakes, so get it from a reputable Low Yat Plaza shop like AllIT. Camera shops ALWAYS sell these things at a higher price.

ccgenius did you buy a second unit of Note 2? Your name is already in the list from the initial manual entries.

I had to lock access to approved requests for the owners list due to our famous troll entering rubbish.

I would suggest you backup your EFS to some cloud service, since it's only about 20mb. At least you will have it accessible anywhere.

Also put PC Odin, Mobile Odin and other useful tools for yourself on the cloud. This is one good use case for cloud services.

Personally, I would caution against putting personal data on the cloud.

Added some links to TechRadar from Xeactorz's post early this morning, ranking the Note 2 as No. 4 in the top 10 list. In post 4 under Reviews

Obviously phones released in Q1 and Q2 2013 swept the top 3, but considering that Note 2 is about 7+ months old and it is still the best of THE REST.

EFS article link by alex is also added. Post 7 under EFS.

Be aware that stuff in the cloud can be seized by the government, especially the US govt, without a warrant.

Have you guys tried those motions which supposed to work in the note 2? Like double tap to go to the top, holding a device up when the screen if off to check for notifications etc? Mine doesnt seem to work.... Either that or i'm doing it wrongly.... But i'm following according to the online user guide downloaded from samsung.... @@
*
Welcome all. Did you 2 just add yourselves via the form? I granted a few people View access but don't know if you guys are the ones tongue.gif

Anyway I don't use any of the Motion stuff. It's a bit gimmicky and not all people find a use for it but if you like it you can try again. Try some games or apps that use the accelerometer or try that *#00# test code. If it works, then maybe there are some settings that weren't setup properly.

samsung start develop 20nm 4GB LDDR3 RAM
if on note 3 then no need think anymore, straight grab whistling.gif

btw why is LDDR and not DDR like laptop or desktop ?
L is for mobile device ?

http://sammyhub.com/2013/04/30/samsung-dev...mobile-devices/
*
high-speed *low power* DDR3 (LPDDR3)

It needs to be dual channel otherwise the throughput is reduced. This is happening with some devices where they only use 1 channel. Tegra 3 I think suffers from this problem. Fast CPU but slow RAM bus.

Well as is usual in IT, miniaturization or slimness means more $$$. However there is a tradeoff in functionality.
