Wait, u can flash a diff kernel even when using a custom rom?
*
QUOTE(antt00 @ May 9 2013, 04:36 PM)
Careful what kernel you flash. Last i remember you are on aosp and not all kernel are compatible.
*
Ya Swarmtroll, please use correct kernel type for your ROM

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...277&postcount=3

AOSP only for AOSP, TW for TW, Hybrid for both.

So i see i have only 3 kernel choices. Kernels improve battery life right? I remember reading somewhere in xda about infinite bootloop

Strange problem. Never have such issue on FB n even friendcaster app
Maybe interference from crack app ( if you have such installed)
*
i dont have this problem but i have a problem with friendcaster always crashing whenever i view a photo using friendcaster, and the culprit is because i use adaway to get rid of ads since im using the free version. Have since switched to the original facebook app eventhough i very much prefer the friendcaster interface. maybe ill just fork out some money and buy the paid version tongue.gif

Actually, YMMV. Kernels have many options, you may read in post 8 under Kernels. If you mess up, you will get bootloops and maybe even worse battery life.

There are 3 categories of kernel, not 3 choices.

After you're done, don't forget to submit an entry in the survey tongue.gif

for those interested in getting the wanamlite v3.6, please take note that the modem included is dlk5 and not dlk7 as the changelog and screenshot in their download page suggests. just found this out, so i'm gonna flash it back to dlk7 as i was using it before since it works fine for me (using digi, in subang jaya area most of the time).

Flash saja. Please read carefully and understand what you are doing. If you have CWM or TWRP you can just flash away. Even Mobile Odin.
