you can still differentiate the difference anyway when you put s4 alongside note 2  one has clearer screen while the another has dull screen 

and you get to play hd games and watch hd youtube/videos..haha 

If PPI is so important for you, why S4 - buy instead the HTC One whose ppi is 469 , the highest of all smartphones to date
Seriously, I dont see much significant difference between it and the Note 2 ,.I don't feel disappointed watching videos on Note 2 either. You are WRONG to say Note 2 has a dull screen - or should I say you use a wrong word . Text do appear better on the HTC One but than if you view the text closely . At normal viewing distance at , say about 10 inches away the difference is negligible
Higher PPI only justify bragging rights if you own a higher PPI phone compared to others

no, just downloaded toolkit, plan to start slowly, now removing kies installing drivers first, then i want to try stuff like backing up EFS, then flash twrp and try full backup. just want to make sure i successfully backup everything before i try any funny stuff.

twrp and nandroid backup are 2 different things? i thought they both do full backup? and crap, i have completed the drivers installation, and the serial key is supposed to appear above the main menu of the toolkit but the serial key is still not showing up.

good for you. Yes the whole process is very fast. 10 mins at most. The longest part is reading and understanding. Carry on and you will be added to post 9
If it is flashed via Kies, and still modified, then you probably have to reboot a few times. Happens to some occasionally. Nobody knows why.

Same thing.  Internal sd is just a fixed sd card. Personal files are never wipe unless u format the sd internal or external.
