i used the EVGA Afterburner and changed the temp to 90 degrees...
so far no more throttling...
and the weird thing is...my temp have never gone beyond 66...

and do read up on the new BIOS.
Seems that some people are experiencing BSOD with the BIOS.

So i'll stick with the current BIOS for now.

Dell will charge full amount to your credit card.
And that amount will be blocked off your credit limit.
The installment amount will be released monthly.
Usually the first payment will include ALL the charges incurred for the transaction.

e.g. Your credit card has 5000 credit limit. U r buying a 4000 Alienware. Once charged, you'll see that your credit balance will be 1000 only. And monthly bank will release the installment amount say 500. So slowing u get back your credit limit, unless of coz you dont make full payment on time. thumbup.gif

So flexi is good. But dont drag it too long. 18-24 months is just right.

Guys.
I just wanna ask something.
Before this, i've played Borderlands 2, Metro, Bioshock Infinite and even Crysis.
The exhaust fan is hot, but everywhere else on the AW14 is cool. Not a bit of heat.
But today, I tried playing Dota 2. The exhaust fan doesnt get too hot. Expected because it's not graphically intensive. BUT....
the right hand side of the keyboard and palm rest gets quite warm.
Is this normal? Bcoz all i know is Dota 2 is very processor intensive, but i am not quite sure where the processor is located.
Please help.

mSATA can be used for boot.
But if u plan to clone the main drive to the mSATA, please DO NOT CLONE while mSATA is attached inside the laptop.
Use an external connection for the mSATA. Else, u'll be f**ked. like how i did.
