QUOTE(silver311 @ Apr 19 2013, 11:20 PM) I've been using the Kalaideng flipcase and its pretty good so far. Isn't the power button hard to press on that one? |

IMO I think the best protection is still those TPU cases, at least it'll bounce around if it drops maybe? @_@

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Apr 25 2013, 05:41 PM) I smell S4 on the way. Speaking about S4's extra power. It does have slightly more power, but since most of the other newer phones (including Samsung's own i9505) uses the 600, I doubt if they'll be any special apps that devs will make that will take advantage of that slight extra power.HTC One or S4? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « That said, I'd pick the One. It's design and awesome speakers are more than enough reasons for me to pick that |

QUOTE(mutt @ Apr 26 2013, 05:48 PM) just went there (kj branch) after friday's prayer. there's no customer except me. gave my n4 to the technician and quoted me the cost of lcd replacement right away. he then started replacing the lcd while I sit on the couch watching ongbak 3. 20minutes later the technician sit right next to me with a paper for me to sign n handed over my repaired hp. Gave him the money n walked out from the service centre. affordable n fast servis I'd say Yeah, they even had a nice couch with astro to watch The only issue is if they do not have the parts you need in stock, you'll need to wait for 3-4 weeks. So it's best to check with them before one makes a trip there |

QUOTE(billy_overheat @ Apr 26 2013, 06:07 PM) Mine was a mainboard issue, they had to change the entire PCB. As they did not have stock for the mainboard, they had to order it from LG Korea which took over 3 weeks.Thankfully its covered in the warranty so I wasn't charged anything, god knows how much that'll cost |

QUOTE(cowithgun @ Apr 26 2013, 06:14 PM) Sorry that you think the camera suck. Many people took some pretty nice photo out of it. The arguement is not whether you can take good photos out of it, anyone can do that with any camera. The key point of what he said was comparison.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000602 It's certainly good enough for me for my Facebook and stuff. Reviewers compare cameras for a reason, there's RM4xx cameras and RM1xxx cameras for a reason. Whether its better optics or better sensor, there's definitely a difference when you compare them at the same environment. Janganlah fanboy sangat, we all own nexus 4 phones here, aren't we all bros? There's no need to bash either QUOTE(olygopoly @ Apr 26 2013, 06:22 PM) No, CM's toggle forces 2G networks only, whereas that does the opposite. This post has been edited by Calex: Apr 26 2013, 06:30 PM |

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Apr 26 2013, 06:58 PM) I remembered that your device stuck in bootloop that time, when you are having issues. Just curious that did you manage to re-lock and un-root and flash to stock (if applicable) when sending for warranty? I re-locked the bootloader and flashed the stock google image while trying to fix the issue, sent it back at that state. |

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Apr 26 2013, 07:18 PM) Ah I see. Similar case with my partner's previous S2 (auto shut down, mainboard issue and most of the time it won't power after it shuts down). Managed to flash back to stock and send it at that state I guess best would be to play safe Wondered if anyone have tried to send their device unlocked to LG for repairs So far only heard about Samsung's mixed responses (some technicians will accept, some will void your warranty). That said, I have sent an unlocked SE Xperia Play for warranty before, and it got fixed without charges. It's AP warranty though, maybe the shop don't know about unlock / locked bootloaders. |
