Got TabletSMS on my Nexus 7 and DeskSMS on Nexus 4 working properly... no need to pick up phone to reply SMSes... just the tablet will do... no choice for those with 2 devices unless u sell both for FonePad.

Asus's software is still a long way from perfect, it's laggy, glitchy and not as stable although it's very close to vanilla (not much bloat with very light skin on top).  if u come from Nexus background u won't be impressed.  This coming from an owner of the Transformer Prime.....

on a side note:

for tablet, u either get a Nexus or a Motorola, all other manufacturers are so far behind them in software updates, stability and responsiveness

anyone experienced random reboot while using Matr1x kernel 8.5???

i'm using stock rom + Matr1x 8.5 and my phone suddenly reboot itself...

I like the kernel but the reboot problem is such nuisance..

which gapps package should I use?

"gapps-jb-20130301-signed" this one? 

May I ask does this gapps package have any difference with other rom dev own gapps package?

And why on the xda forum cm10.1 nightly thread they stated that it is optional to flash the gapps packages?

Just got my spanking new Nexus 4 as an upgrade from the S2.

Enjoy every moment of it. It's great to have a high reso screen and stock google experience. Feels good to know that I'll be having latest and greatest ROM experience on this device.

Though I miss the lack of swipe to SMS and Call, smart stay, and great av codec support, I suppose samsung did do a few things right even though their support in updates is far from satisfying.

If I'm not mistaken 1 of the improvement was the power management.

I have heard some "click" noise when I shake my device. I am pretty sure that the noise is neither made by the volume rocker nor lock button. Are you guys also experiencing the same problem?

Trust me, flashing android (somemore Nexus) is much easier than flashing BlackBerry and Nokia S60V5... last time I used so much time to flash nokia. Now it's all breeze.

how are you guys doing with the fixed storage of n4?this is my first device with no external storage.i have about 7gb left after some apps and games installed.no media files.

is it worth it to purchase air drive or something similar to it?
