Maybe he changed the navigation setting or opted to avoid highways / tolled roads tongue.gif, never had such issues (will  use the fastest route which is usually the highway) on default setting.

Highway always jammm. Sometimes those weird route is faster doh.gif

Ops, wrong... Touch Control Free PGM for Nexus 4?

QUOTE(poad @ Apr 20 2013, 02:25 PM)
yupz..something like dat..diz kind off apps very limited due to need other kernel..

If got root, can try proximity sensor off. Best for flip case user. Got gesture options inside to lock/unlock the phone too.

Is DiGi zero contract offer still available?
Checked online, all are 24 months contracts.
*
Check the FAQ, you can terminate on spot. But actually not worth getting from digi now. You can just buy a unit outside, LG Malaysia unit for about the same price without the hassle to sign and to terminate contract with digi.

No more. Its take it or leave it now
*
But can terminate with conditions. So it's still there. Just not written there as no contract.

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Apr 20 2013, 06:56 PM)
Nope. Using SwiftKey now and ever; although I hate the fact that they took so long and yet Chinese PinYin support is still unavailable. Even Korean is now supported doh.gif
*
Try Kii. Got stock layout. Got chinese also. It's free!

Haha true. During jam hours I usually use their weird routes (e.g using residential roads to ss2 instead of all the way with ldp which are usually packed during peak hour tongue.gif)

As for the keyboard, i kinda love swiftkey suggestions and learning ability.. That's the only reason kept me using swiftkey lol.

Just an alternative. That app allows you to use Proximity (proximity is the main part) but also offers gesture to lock/unlock.

I don't own nexus 4. No guarantee. Just suggesting. Why don't you try it out wink.gif

This app is really good for flip case user. Too bad. I don't like flip case.

Heavy duty means definitely will add bulk to the phone. I want my phone as thin as possible. So either bumper or naked haha

do ever someone using gesture to ON ur nexus?
*
I am.It feel so N9-ish.
However in some rare time the gesture does not work.

QUOTE(poad @ Apr 20 2013, 02:25 PM)
yupz..something like dat..diz kind off apps very limited due to need other kernel..
*
For this kind of gesture to work you need extra functions in kernel.
Google does not provide this function in stock kernel & Android due to patent issue.
I believe Nokia hold patent related to this.

QUOTE(fishuu @ Apr 20 2013, 03:22 PM)
Nope... the usb port does not supply enuf power
sad case cry.gif

But.... There are few mods out there
*
The ongoing kernel function has some power drain issue. But yeah,in theory with external power the otg does work.

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Apr 20 2013, 06:03 PM)
Here you go hah. I didn't fix it, not very disturbing to me so yeah.

Now I am using a bumper but occasionally I still use it naked. Feels so good.

Is the crack just a surface crack or deep crack?
Maybe you can use some silicon seal to hide the crack?Or you can just stick some sticker.

the titanium back up usually just back up apps only right? if want flash other roms. what if back up system data too, when restore  does the system data will crash with the other roms?
*
Some third party ROM modify the stock app to suit their ROM.So to prevent the force crash the ROM create will recommend you not to restore system app.
Another reason is prevent fc from your previous ROM to repeat in newest ROM.

But let's say if you're using CM10.1 nightly & you want to upgrade from nightly build of 3 days ago to todays build,IMO there won't be much issue if you restore system app.

SwiftKey kaki here.
IMO learning keyboard is batter than predictive keyboard.Because we Malaysians use more than 1 languages. It's good to have a keyboard that can learn from our own past typing and use the pattern to suggest relevant words.

Google's stock keyboard is good in predicting pre-programmed words but but does not support good learning pattern.

I don't really like using proximity sensor for extra gesture functions.Using it for other functions drains battery since the sensor needs to active all the time.

http://www.phonearena.com/news/Report-clai...support_id42157

IMHO Nexus 4 have 4 issue. No pun intended.
1.LTE Support
2.Low storage size
3.Battery life
4.OTG support.

2 issue will be solved if Google did release newer Nexus 4.However the 4th issue will never be solved because it'll require LG to revise the SOC & logic board design.
Ah well, there's no perfect.Wait for next Nexus phone to see whether all the issues solved.

You can use stock rom but need to flash third party kernel. The extra module needed in order to make the gesture work is unavailable in stock Android 4.2.2 kernel.
If you're afraid of using some unknown kernel the Touch Control developer himself provide a modified kernel which essentially the stock kernel with added gesture modules. You can use that.

Or there's something wrong with my power source?
