Why don't you bring your phone to service centre and show the technician about your screen problem. Who knows..it might covered by warranty. But be prepared also to accept if they reject your claim. Good luck |

QUOTE(KaNGaRooBaby @ May 11 2013, 03:33 PM) hi, any S3 user here already updated to the latest firmware 4.2.2 this few days? is it ok? anyone encounter problems after updating? Nobody have the official 4.2 firmware yet.and i would like to ask if i never root my s3 before, after update to the latest firmware, is it possible for me to reverse back to the previous version if i doesnt like the latest update? All those 4.2 custom ROM are ported from other source...IINM And yes...you can always downgrade your firmware if you want to. Doesn't matter if you're rooted or not. QUOTE(donleong @ May 12 2013, 12:29 PM) ps: flash the stock recovery can be done using many methods... If you have downloaded any official stock firmware..the simple way to flash stock recovery is by using MobileOdin.what i recommend is in this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703488 Just use the recovery section then flash...done.!! |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ May 12 2013, 03:08 PM) Hi. My wife S3 keep on hang and requires to remove battery. I have try reset to factory default yesterday and then restore from my backup in Google but still encounter the crash. Make another factory reset but this time use only the pre-install app (without all those downloaded app from market) for one or two days.Is there any way can solve the issue. I am thinking of flashing to custom rom but which is the most stable custom ROM now for S3? Currently running on stock 4.1.2 I9300DXELK1 Build number JZo54K.I9300XXEMA2 If still hanging..bring to phone to service centre. If the hangs stop..some of your downloaded apps is the culprit. QUOTE(lucifah @ May 12 2013, 09:38 PM) Does your phone already rooted or something..?Even AP set if the firmware/phone untouched can still receive FOTA. Only way now is to manually flash the latest JB firmware via Odin. Or you can still go to service centre and ask them to help flash new firmware for you BUT they will charge you around RM80 - 100. |

QUOTE(lucifah @ May 12 2013, 09:49 PM) it runs on stock samsung touchwiz firmware Bwahaha..not a bad idea if you have funds to upgrade for S4..lolz deswai i was quite perplexed my AP samseng tab oso can update OTA easily. but dunno why my S3 dun wan is this a sign that i have to upgrade to S4? Still..manually flash the firmware is easy for S3. Since you still on ICS..you can root your phone easily without need of PC..then can use MobileOdin app to manually flash the new JB firmware. All these can be done through the phone itself. |
