My gate is less than half a year, started to see paint peeled off and rust. sad.gif

1 of this problem is the paint not fully cover and allow water sip in.

Another is the welding not fully cover and water sip into the hollow grill. And rust from inside out.

Nowaday all the grill are not fully welding. Only spot welding. So it is important to use the paint to fully cover those hole.

Even my drawing and instruction is clear state all the joint is fully welding, those dickhead worker still just spot welding.

Invest into a good primer la,  different are not like hundreds or thousands is only like ten of ringgit different. Have you Paint grills or Gate before?  Is not easy job.  First timer I Paint dam hard job,  next round I buy canned primer and got pump to spray paint.  Faster and nicer but many time more expensive.

Use canned primer spray can pokai. 4pcs canned primer spray already can buy 1 tin of primer to paint your whole gate + extra. 4pcs canned primer spray cannot cover your whole gate either. And the canned primer spray is super thin layer.

I used about 12 canned if not mistaken.

Sometime is the outcome that count smile.gif  and my last spray for my mom house was around 2004, and only last year my mom repaint.

1 canned spray now cost around rm6-7 if not mistaken. And contain 400ml only. Freaking expensive, less and thin paint.

this paint sure won't peel n crack, provided u prep the surface properly...
direct to rust, just make sure no loose particles(rust) on surface...
