Well, the contract and brighter for Dell's widescreen LCD is a bit disappointing, it's too dark and colours are muddy. Have you tried running Ridge Racer 6 on it. If no, do so and you'll get what I mean. It's best to get Samsung or Sony LCD tv, they're a better choice for HD gaming.

You're wrong about that, it's 1080i and not 1080P, very few HD panels support 1080P (native mode, not upscaling mode). Even Panasonic's Viera accepts 1080P signals but it is not in native mode. If you want a true 1080P panel running in native mode, there are a few brands in the market from Sony Bravia X, Samsung (forgot which model), Sharp (the 46 inch model). Of course, the prices are above $10K or more.

Dun get mixed up with 1080i and 1080P, they're not the same and even the HD set mentions that it accepts 1080P signals, it doesn't mean that it has all the pixels to display the image in 1080P. It can be done via upscaling from the video processor. Well, for XBOX 360, some games will lag a little when running in 1080i / 1080P mode like PDZ, King Kong, NFS Most Wanted. The best is running at 720P. smile.gif

I prefer Sony Bravia's X Series, the first full HD LCD from Sony but must wait for the price to go down first, at $15,000 for the 40 inch model, I can get a heart attack immediately. Hehehe.
