wow...
more exp than dell..
but it has hdmi interface..

still i heard the problem with this DELL and BenQ is the fact that they display image at 16:10 ratio..
which means movies will have black bars..
game should be alright i guess

I am not a tech savvy person when it comes to these things. But I was playing
Xbox360 on my 19" Viewsonic and I never got this experience. To me, it really
felt like from having okay images to super duper sharp and vibrant images on
screen.
*
wow.. the dell screen is nice..
u ordered from dell site i suppose?

*
most tv has component input but only 480i.. not even 480p..

QUOTE(Gurdian @ Jan 6 2007, 07:35 PM)
the 2407 is a fantastic monitor with a fantastic price if you're gonna use it for a PC. Quality is fantastic and I'm still happy with my purchase...

Sadly, running it with the xbox 360 results in some irritation due to poor component implementation, no 1:1 scaling for 1080p, and those silly half-visible vertical lines you get unless you reduce sharpness to 30 from 50.

Other than that, running at 720p or 1360x768 still looks fantastic and till today I'm still squinting my eyes to see the minimal difference of 1360x768 and 1080p (of course, if you had a larger screen, say 32" you'd see the difference immediately). Hence, the difference between 720p and 1080p on the 24" 2407 is very minimal.

whew.
*
gurdian.. i want to ask..
since u have it... i assume u run 1080p using VGA.. and its 16:10 right
so some game will have distortion.. and some games have black bars right?
what u mean by 1:1 scaling?

For the Americans, they can send their lcd for RMA to get the new firmware installed for free.

Just wondering when the stocks here comes with the new firmware or our local tech support provide new firmware upgrade.  unsure.gif

Just receive my Dell 22" LCD and I'm using it post this message. Everything look so clear and nice and damn... 22" already seem very huge for a monitor! I've been using 15" all the while.

No dead/stuck pixel so far and there is some slight backlight leaking problem, but I guess I can live with it. Will probably get my Xbox 360 in these two weeks, will let u guys know how's the quality....
*
so ur using the E228WFP i suppose..
i know this monitor has 2 input.. DVi and analog
i am wondering does that mean u can switch between both inputs?
eg. DVI connected to PC, Analog connected to another source at the same time..
