Just thought I add a little 2 cents...
I've seen the Xbox360 image on a couple of monitors. - LG 19" Widescreen LCD - Dell 21" CRT - Sharp 29" CRT TV - Samsung 26" Widescreen LCD TV My top choice would still be LCD/CRT's meant for PC's. The images on LCD/CRT TV's tend to look a little... plasticky. I'm not sure if everyone has had the same experience...but the monitors meant for PC's although slightly washed out in colors, tend to look more realistic. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jan 10 2007, 11:56 PM) anyone know where to buy the converter for speaker? i cant find any around PJ, went to tesco, ikano power centre all don have.. guide me plz.. better around sec17 or sec14 la... Try Sri Computer @ Lowyat Plaza. I think Djinn got his from there. Its a solid 1 piece converter from Female Stereo RCA to Female Stereo Minijack.I bought mine in SS2 from Megnumtronics (beside Clutch Games). The only difference, mine is a cable type instead of 1 solid piece. Works well anyways. |

A couple of things to note on the Dell 2407.
1) Rev A04 has the 1:1 ratio option, so your 1920x1080 can be viewed properly. 2) The chip handling the component (YPbPr) signals is rubbish. My current plan is to purchase an LCD TV which is capable of doing 1280x720 natively. Honestly, I don't think the Xbox has enough juice to run games at 1080p natively. I'll bet they're using the scaler or sacrificing framerate to get the games to run that high. 720p FTW. Added on February 24, 2007, 10:25 am QUOTE(Gurdian @ Feb 24 2007, 10:13 AM) sadly aegis, we can't flash the new revision ourselves... You can try to tell them that you're using the monitor ONLY for your XBOX, so this function is absolutely crucial to you. you'll have to call up dell, and negotiate with them on getting a replacement...which is very difficult because they will tell you that they can only replace if there's something wrong with the lcd panel or something like that... but i remember someone managed to replace thiers with reva04... That's the IRE black level issue, which will be fixed in the next update...
