technically 720p is better coz it has more pixel. but if you have tv that can accept 1080i signal and display it as 1080p , it would look much better.

Im confuse. Mine LCD TV support up to 1080i signal. Q is, how the hell i know it can display as 1080p?? blink.gif

Furthermore mine got HDMI input. I'm assume the HDMI usually support to 1080p no??

Yup it does, but not through component input of coz. But no, it's not DHCP ready since it's not a router. It's HDCP ready.  laugh.gif  tongue.gif

I just got myself a 2407 dell monitor with the A04 revision, a lot of people is saying its good cause of something called a 1:1 thingy. I'm using the HDAV cables provided not VGA and i've set my 360 settings to display at 1080i. However when i set my monitor settings to 1:1 it shows the black bars on all 4 sides.

As you can tell i'm very much a newbie so all advice is appreciated. Especially what should the optimal settings for monitor be?

Thank you very much guys.
