I've got an old 29" Panasonic CRT TV too, but I don't think it'll quite cut it for XB360 gaming. Simply won't do your console justice.
Anyway, I bought a new Dell e228wfp for 899 during PCFair. Quite a sweet deal. Hope I'll get it soon.
Was actually thinking of getting the Samsung 226BW, but that's 1100++!

QUOTE(verced @ Apr 19 2007, 02:55 AM) Forget about the 3rd party cables. None of them work as advertised on higher resolutions. That may be too for the "Dragon" brand. But I've heard good things about the 3rd party VGA cables made by Joytech and XCM(XCM 360 5 output cable). Does anyone have any experience using these ? Will need to get a VGA cable for my new LCD.

QUOTE(verced @ Apr 19 2007, 11:57 AM) After spending so much money on your monitor and LCD, I bet you just wanna get the best quality for your setups instead of worrying whether what you're seeing 'could' be better if you're using the original cables right? The cost differences for the cables (relative to Xbox + VGA) is too small. Just stick with the official cable would be my recommendation. Well, I bought my monitor at RM900, which i guess isn't to steep . Anyway, how much did you buy ur vga cable for and where did you get it from?

The "Dragon" cable, judge? How does it compare to the original component cable. Equivalent?
