So guys, does this mean it's worth it to use VGA connections to LCD TVs?

I'm aching to try out my 360 on VGA to my Philips 32" LCD, but scared worse than component.

Just borrow a vga cable from anyone you know and try it on your LCD TV. If you can see the difference then buy the cable.

definitely use vga bro. it's the only way to get 1:1 pixel thingy (LCD 1360x768 - X360 1360x768). donno about the diff between ori and tipu one.

Hmm. Good point.

Forget about the 3rd party cables. None of them work as advertised on higher resolutions.

This is probably for LCD monitors yeah?

After spending so much money on your monitor and LCD, I bet you just wanna get the best quality for your setups instead of worrying whether what you're seeing 'could' be better if you're using the original cables right?
*
Again, that makes sense.

Hmmm. More food for thought. The MS VGA HD cable with optical is now RM 103 only on PA.

Of course the optical cable isn't included, but you can get cheap ones easily. True sometimes the cheapo ones slip out easily so be careful. Right now looks like I'll be going the way of the ori MS HDVGA cable...
