The R7 is only RM3799 @ Best Denki (Weekend only price)

Thanks. I used the rm3999 price cos the screens were sitting near each other. However, even rm200 less doesn't quite make up for the bigger screen, though.

Been reading through these reviews. The model numbers are different slightly, but apparently they're attributed to our location, the variations of HDMI/Scart inputs, and the in-built tuner variations.

These are mainly for the LG 37LC2D, which I'm guessing is their equivalent for our 37LC2R except it's still an older model running on the '06 XD whereas the UK?US ones are on the new engine, and have a higher contrast ratio.

eh...i tot Dell also accept bank draft/Giro ?..

Dell take cheque too. Last time my comp bought laptop, a cheque was issued. Dell sent someone over to pick up the cheque, and after 2-3 days to clear it, they sent the goods. No reason why that shouldn't work for bank drafts, too. Just make sure that guy comin over is really from Dell.

But dunno lah. 1k more can get the LG 37", with 5 yr warranty. The AVS forums seem quite positive about the LG.

Viewsonic VA1912WB

It's reasonable. Not super great. A bit of backlight bleed. Do a side-by-side test in a shop if you can.

I firmly believe there are better options than this, buy it's pretty cheap now I think. I bought for 1100 a year ago.
