damn i totally forgotten about Nokia Drive! lol!
i did that on the same night. but the "stain" looks permanent to me.
now i can only wait for Nokia to get me back whether my phone can be repaired.

according to the customer service, water immersed is still covered by warranty as long as there's no hardware failure or crack of LCD.

can only hope for the best else LCD replacement costs around 650 plus 50 labour fee.

Cycle until masuk lubang, first time i hear things like this happen. For me, my friend was particpating a marathon run, then it rained heavy. He got all wet - along with his new 1 week old phone that costs 2 week. Phone goes straight to ICU rclxub.gif

Good luck with Ativ S. It is great device if Samsung put effort as much as Nokia & HTC. Check out this article before you buy it: http://www.wpcentral.com/samsung-trying-sa...e-out-microsoft

I am not sure how many owners have hardware issues, but I can tell you I am 1 of the happy owners here smile.gif

Nokia overheat issue really scare me off bro. I don't want faulty product. Only reason I buy Asus laptop is because of the damn good service + quality (top along with Toshiba) along with good specs at cheaper price. The 2 year free warranty helps too thumbup.gif If Nokia can give me Asus-like quality and service, then sure no hal. But Samsung is offering me no hardware problems (overheat) right out of the box. I look at Nokia salespeople already want to cry. Unfortunately local Nokia and overseas Nokia like heaven and earth difference... sleep.gif'

was cycling on the road but have to go pass a plantation area to reach the other side of garden where it is a rocky terrain with full of grasses. the plantation area is in total darkness as it was a night ride and we have to cycle across a narrow path where both sides are poll of mud.

it used to be dry but recently been pouring quite often. so the terrain is kinda wet and muddy.

didn't realize that i have reached the particular spot as we dont cycle very close to avoid crashing each other.

you will know what i mean if you experience mountain biking yourself. smile.gif

i only switched it off and left it in a bag of rice for the night. following day switched on and realize it's not helping at all and decided to send for replacement anyway.

didn't expect phone to die before i can even get to deliver to nokia centre.

Agree with the sales people problem, Pennag Gurney one good example liao. whistling.gif

On overheat, i never experienced it before. The phone is a bit hot when gaming a lot though. Just yesterday i used up 60% of battery non-stop gaming Asphalt 7 for hours and the phone is only a bit warm. That game damn troll people one, quite hard to win at later stages and i repeated a lot, thats why.

Remember last time, i ada ask about users who updated to 1308 using nsu,

for find my phone in the website, when click refresh to find, the progress bar go to full and usually it will pop up the phone location, but after updated, no more pop up phone location and the progress bar stays full forever..

dont worry, it actually works, if you check ur livemail mailbox, there is a link to the map of ur phone location. So basically a bit leceh la since before update to 1308, the result just pop up instantly in the same window, now need to check email pulak.

my ring and lock with custom message also works.

last time i answered you bro, after 1308 my Find My Phone working as usual, apart from the location on map thingy. didnt know it will e-mail me the result. i assume it uses Location Services to trace the phones location.
