Still on the topic of tires  sweat.gif

I also wish I can assure you, drive like unker, M3 and M5 is gooding enough. Truth is, on dry road it is fine if you drive unker style, but on the wet it is not very safe. Imagine when I was on the M5, every time raining I will try my damnest to follow the water trail left behind by the car in front so to minimise the chance of aquaplaning, and I only dare go as fast as 60km/h in a straight line. What's more ranjiao about the Synergy M5 is hard compound - noisy, bumpy (summore low profile), all for the sake of longer lasting treadwear.

That time rainy season I was going up Genting, I finally have an excuse to swap them all out before the trip because I was carrying passengers. After changing to Kumhos, I can fly thru water puddles whereas the Silverstones will cause my steering to kick to one side. Comfort level is also drastically improved because I also opt for higher profile tires.

Now my Fofi running on Conti Premium Contact 2, adequate grip for the occasional hard cornering, but reaches it's grip limit quite soon. But the wear rate is  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

Seriously, M3 is a very not good tyre...
skid few times on wet road.. Very not save to have these tyres..

Conti is a not bad brand but the wearing part i not so sure

Don't think all stock Gaga come with Ducaro. I've a friend who purchase new FLX, come with Silverstone as stock tyres.  shakehead.gif

Yeah old FLX using goodyear and 2012 flx using silverstone.

I can tell the different just in term on speeding 120kmh.

My car(GoodYear) is still steady. My sister can (silverstone) already feel like less shaking on 110kmh. shakehead.gif

How small is your phone screen  blink.gif

You can choose the size of the dials....I'm using Samsung Galaxy Wonder with the puny 3.7" screen, can fit in 6 gauges in one screen and still can read clearly (numerical displays, not dials)

Using Torque Pro, btw.

Further to yesterday's story, today was stuck in massive jam near Kepong. Sending kid to school ady took up 45minutes, another 45 minutes to get here total 14km. Fuel indicator dropped another bar left 2 bars, trip meter clocked 260km.

1 thing I omitted, which is the over sized tyres for my car. 195/55R15 is 3.5% greater in radius compare to stock 175/70R13. This could be another culprit that causes higher FC than usual. Not to mention the extra 20mm widthness for each corner. 1 fine day ayam gonna throw all those 195 away & go for 185 or even 175 if available. Life is too short for cornering speed, might as well stick to long live FC talks.

Will update again as I finish this tank of Primax 95.
