Still on the topic of tires
eqmal197 I also wish I can assure you, drive like unker, M3 and M5 is gooding enough. Truth is, on dry road it is fine if you drive unker style, but on the wet it is not very safe. Imagine when I was on the M5, every time raining I will try my damnest to follow the water trail left behind by the car in front so to minimise the chance of aquaplaning, and I only dare go as fast as 60km/h in a straight line. What's more ranjiao about the Synergy M5 is hard compound - noisy, bumpy (summore low profile), all for the sake of longer lasting treadwear. That time rainy season I was going up Genting, I finally have an excuse to swap them all out before the trip because I was carrying passengers. After changing to Kumhos, I can fly thru water puddles whereas the Silverstones will cause my steering to kick to one side. Comfort level is also drastically improved because I also opt for higher profile tires. Now my Fofi running on Conti Premium Contact 2, adequate grip for the occasional hard cornering, but reaches it's grip limit quite soon. But the wear rate is This post has been edited by dares: Apr 15 2013, 08:27 PM |

Story time
I had an agreement since last Wednesday incident, which I have not told due to unconfirmed. It all begun with the pouring rain that flooding almost every single inch in KL. Mrs YAB was driving GaGa, I was using Kerinchi Link with Shawie. Suddenly Mrs YAB text me saying engine oil lite up. Out of cautious sake, she parked the car inside Damas mall, later I goes into the car park as I reached later due to jam. Since I've got my spare key, I did not wait for Mrs YAB jump straight into the car & start troubleshooting. I couldn't find any sign of plobrem with the car. Everything work as usual, not even the oil indicator as told by Mrs YAB. So I assume its a 1 time glitch. Anyway, out of safety concern, I still change ride with Mrs YAB, took the GaGa home and left Shawie with Mrs YAB. On the way back, fuel tank left 4 bars, trip meter clocked 120km, I started the nightmare in Jln Ipoh. For 1 hour jam, GaGa managed to make 1 bar from the fuel indicator disappeared, 3 bar left. As I reached home, trip meter clocked 134km. The next day, sending GaGa to Dengkil to find magician for troubleshooting the oil indicator. We found the oil switch was wet despite its underneath IAFM, we seen there's no sign of faulty, wipe it clean, blow dry and put it back. I confronted Mrs YAB, she admit went through a puddle and the oil lited up. Anyway, not a big deal and ayam happily driving GaGa for the rest of the day. From Dengkil to Banting, trip meter went to 190km, fuel indicator left 2 bars. I was expecting it may be can last up to 300km before low fuel warning. However, as I reached Sijangkang, that was about 220km, my fuel indicator left 1 last bar. My heart broke into billion peaces! Somehow I felt like a truck hit my right at my face, reminds me of Luke once mentioned the full LC2K can only complete with Petronas Primax 95. Despite the PETRON smile points poison is strong, I decided oh what the hell, so I went pump in full tank of Primax 95 right opposite of where our GaGa went for birth cert inspection Sijangkang QC factory. It was RM52 for 220km if not mistaken, but I remember my fuelly shows 10.4litre/100km. On the way back home, another rain started and I got stuck from Shah Alam all the way back home, took me almost 3 hours jam. Ayam suprised as I reached home, trip meter clocked 60km, yest my 1st bar still intact. On Friday morning, I drove another 14km to office, yet another jam for 1 hour. As trip meter clocked 74km, 1st bar gone. I was thinking may be the float gone wonkey. So I aint bother. The whole day running around, stop & go by used car dealers, finally had a chance to go MERZ. We found out plastic bags, akar pokok, bunch of leaf inside the wheel arch, clear indication of flood. I confronted Mrs YAB again, finally she admited a lori stopped infront of puddle, she was gangho enough to overtook the lori and went through the "puddle". Anyway, she was warned to not commit such stunt or she's gonna bear the replacement cost of engine/ECU/interior cleaning & repairs. Car was washed nice & shine by MERZ. Ayam a happy camper taking slow traffic all the way home. Its Friday anyway, so the jam didn't make me nervous/angry. 2nd bar was gone during weekend housing area cruise, trip meter clocked 146km. Today, was stucked in usual Monday KL blue in the morning, rushing to Puncak Jalil to collect payment in the afternoon. Taking jam all the way back home. 3rd bar gone at 214km. I almost didn't shout inside the car like an idiot! OMFG!!!!! My ranjiao GaGa can do 70km/bar in KL driving! I know its still too early since this is the 1st tank of Petronas Primax 95 in the car! I remember previously Mrs YAB did before, but that was she driving not me. So I'd assume she whack it hard so to make my fuelly looked awkward. It could be the fuel, it could be the flood. I for 1 started to believe LC2K did compliment by Primax 95 the sluggish fuel I've ever driven. Driving with DEFI vacuum gauge ranging between -0.4 - -0.6bar. I will update again for those who follow my story. Cheers |

How small is your phone screen You can choose the size of the dials....I'm using Samsung Galaxy Wonder with the puny 3.7" screen, can fit in 6 gauges in one screen and still can read clearly (numerical displays, not dials) Using Torque Pro, btw.
