QUOTE(vampirewong @ Apr 14 2013, 02:38 PM) Review time: Door frame rubber insulation replacement. How much is 1 meter andLeft: Stock. Right: Replacement ![]() ![]() Closed up view: ![]() Summary: Brought 2 meters to test this item. Replaced the driver's door. Initial impression, close door sound more solid and better than stock (closing the door from outside and from inside) cuz got 2 layers of insulation already The door rubber dimension matches the stock rubber and it fits perfectly. Refer to the 3rd photo above. Went out for a drive to have breakfast. Focusing on the sound from front door, noises from outside still penetrate thru especially when motorcyclist pass by. Again, the noise penetration could be from door panel area and driver side rear door. Btw, this door rubber does not cover the whole door frame. It covers the area where the stock rubber covers. Will be ordering soon for the rest of the 3 doors. Hopefully after replacing the rest of the 3 doors, it gives a more satisfactory result. Whoever is interested and wants to tumpang purchase, please PM me directly. what is the length for one door. If I'm not mistaken, davidke20 also using this one but for the front door, only the top part can be done and the lower half cant... |

QUOTE(dares @ Apr 15 2013, 08:26 PM) Still on the topic of tires Seriously, M3 is a very not good tyre... eqmal197 I also wish I can assure you, drive like unker, M3 and M5 is gooding enough. Truth is, on dry road it is fine if you drive unker style, but on the wet it is not very safe. Imagine when I was on the M5, every time raining I will try my damnest to follow the water trail left behind by the car in front so to minimise the chance of aquaplaning, and I only dare go as fast as 60km/h in a straight line. What's more ranjiao about the Synergy M5 is hard compound - noisy, bumpy (summore low profile), all for the sake of longer lasting treadwear. That time rainy season I was going up Genting, I finally have an excuse to swap them all out before the trip because I was carrying passengers. After changing to Kumhos, I can fly thru water puddles whereas the Silverstones will cause my steering to kick to one side. Comfort level is also drastically improved because I also opt for higher profile tires. Now my Fofi running on Conti Premium Contact 2, adequate grip for the occasional hard cornering, but reaches it's grip limit quite soon. But the wear rate is skid few times on wet road.. Very not save to have these tyres.. Conti is a not bad brand but the wearing part i not so sure |
