Hi Jialat, appreciate your advise on eye drop. If there is choice, I want to change to a cheaper bottle type of eye drop. Currently using Refresh Plus. I also bought Refresh Liquigel, not sure if its ok to use that. Thank you.

So, I've been following this thread closely for the past few weeks. It seems like doing refractive surgery in Malaysia is pretty much a hit or miss, which isn't great considering it's a vital organ.

Should I consider doing it elsewhere?

I did my Femto-Lasik at Optimax TTDI HQ, because I believe they should have the best surgeon at HQ.
After PM with Jialat I choose Dr. Chua and I believe I made the right choice.
Very satisfy with my results, can't feel any night vision problem and dry eye. I stop using eye drop after third check up.

So Dr. Chua should be the best in Malaysia?

Today is my 3rd day after doing femto-lasik.

No more irritation or watery, just slight dry eyes.

However, my far and near vision is sometimes clear, sometimes blur.

Has anyone experience this? Is this normal?

I just got fliers about this KPJ Ipoh femto-lasik promo ads on FB. Any idea or suggestion about this? Anyone have had an experience doing lasik here before? How good is it? Is it the same femto-lasik method at other centres? This is the cheaper for both eyes doing femto-lasik compared to Optimax, i think.

Hi jialat, I am also keen to undergo lasek/lasik surgery for my eyes.
Have been wearing specs since 1990. Left eye is -6.50, right eye is -8.0
I am allergic to paracedamol and some antibiotics. Not sure the medication allergies will affect anything later.

I am keen to have my eyes checked too.

I don't think they are able to  , bc the surgery is done.

Most surgeon for refractive surgery are not corneal specialist. Dr.Stephen Chung and Dr.Yen are not corneal specialist.
I will said that corneal specialist will conduct a more thorough pre op exam compare to others ophthalmologist.

For my case , dr. yen didn't even examine my eyes during pre op comprehensive eye examination.
Post op check up by a corneal specialist , "trouble shoot  " as mentioned by you ????
