I went for enhancement but still no sign of improvement. Maybe still early. Will update my progress here.

I was given the perception of topo-guided femto-lasik.
But on the day of surgery, they asked me to tick 'circle' on the form.

why both of us having almost similar  post op negative effect ?

relex - treatment type issue ? or surgeon issue here ?

Your friend is due to residue power . With glasses he is doing fine.

Miyoko28 n I end up with corneal scarring ,  hazy vision , decentred ablation n glasses does not help.
Ours problem are serious

Now Miyoko28 had enhancement surgery which I hope really can help her to regain her vision.

Just to share my experience. Did my femto lasik at Optimax TTDI last Friday by Dr. Chua.
So far so good.
I was able to drive back for my 1st check up on Saturday. After checking by the optometrist, my vision is almost perfect able to read the smallest prints.
Till today still using eye drops (antibiotic and lubricant eye drops). Tomorrow will go for my second/ 1 week check up. So far night vision no problem and didn't feel any dry eye issue. Hopefully it stay like this.

High power is quite risky, since too much correction required. You might suffer from poor night vision after correction.
There are still other option like Ortho-K which is safer but not permanent, or ICL. Maybe you should check how thick is your cornea first.

I have been silently reading this thread ever since I started considering doing LASIK. I have a few questions regarding post op for LASIK that I could not find answers to in this thread, neither among websites regarding LASIK by Malaysians. Would really appreciate if you could give your opinions on these matters.

1. There have been sayings that the flap never fully recovers post LASIK op, and have risks of displacement in later years. What are your thoughts on this? As I am a fairly active person, basketball, badminton, futsal,hiking etc are a weekly routine for me, do you think displacement could happen despite not having direct physical contact at the eye?

2. There have been sayings that people who have done LASIK, face risks of getting cataract 10 years earlier than the average people do. I am also aware that cataract happens in the eye and LASIK merely the surface of the eye. But this may concern me as it is a long term side effect.

3. On a side note, do you think it's possible for me to request for Referral letter from you for examination and LASIK surgery?

Optimax do mentioned in writing by offering this treatment " topo-guided femto lasik and topo-guided ASA to post relex patient who has poor result/outcome from initial surgery.
Not sure why your contact from optimax denied it.

if i get referral letter from you, can get this 1k each eye? so it will be about 12k for relex and 8k for femto?
