it means  Maxis is good signal in MR2 area?
*
depends on which house is yours situated at...
mine only have a spot (master room on the upper floor) with better signal (3g with 3 bars), the rest of the house area is practically weak signal to none

I believe MR2 or rawang in general mainly catered for residents that either live nearby and now upgrade or those want to live close to family and community.

rarely ppl from outside world would pick rawang to settle down, unless you are new to klang valley or started your work life here.

same can apply to klang, kajang, cheras, pj and kepong.
*
Well, i am working in kl, and staying in mr2
Reason is that i searching for g&g landed since 3 years ago, well i got here

While for food, i normally have it at country homes area, there are a few chinese food choices here

i share the sentiment with the poster especially the following
QUOTE
When we can get the Unifi broadband connection?????

When we can have the good mobile coverage?????

Other developers able to secure unifi connection before move in why ms requires residents to submit application forms and fulfill 30% rensidential quota set by tm??

while for the lake, ms said that it is under selayang government management and not under their control. Then this is false advertising during the sale.

clubhouse progress is moving but slow. This is bad project management.

While for defects, I didn't face such problem as all of my defects report were attended to within 2 months everytime i make a report.

I prefer ms to provide bi weekly status update on all items to emails or letter, now we are all in the dark.

Two months for defect repair? According to s&p it is 30 days. 2months is too long.

For tm, bcoz ms want to save cost, thats why you dont get unifi connection. By right all new housing development should have fibre optic ready, but mr2 only have copper. Somemore it is ugly overhead cabling.
*
if they exceed the s&p which state 30 days, what can i do other than walking to their office and follow up?

i am not sure if there is any copper lines in birch as we do not even have streamyx. And what ms said during the last agm, this is solely controlled by tm and not them.

U are always the loser if they drag longer. They wont extend your defect liability period. U have to be fierce when dealing with them. Dont  give them face. Bang table. Seriously, it works.

They like to push  the responsibility to tm. In fact, during planning time they can work with tm by paying some fees to get all infra ready upon vp. But for cost saving, they skip this.

i see...thanks for the info

i also hope the rep of my neighborhood can do something, at least ask ms to provide constant update on all the outstanding item. Maybe next year i have to volunteer myself to make things work. sigh

by right should lay the copper wire during constructions
MR2 residence has completed, If want to lay now then is a messing job
*
if i remember correctly, there are holes (those very big diameter hose) layed down at the back of the house, not sure what those called, previously ms said that those are used to install the fiber etc.

from your house to the tm box fiber optic outside... the fiber optic line required is super thin only... no need big diameter hose... the only thing required would be tm must make sure that the area is already fiber optic capable for Unifi.... if the occupancy rate in MR2 is good... usually they will take action quite fast... wont more than 6 months...
*
based on my neighborhood, birch, i think there should be around 30% occupancy rate, but there is no action from ms even after mutiple submission of internet applications (2 times), it has been 1 year+ since vp.

i even tried to call tm regarding this, but as always their reply was "not sure"

i am not sure able the cable work, but i was told that the hose behind each house is going to be used for setting up the pole for unifi or something like that, i could be wrong.

and for basic necessities, even telephone line was not there, this was told by my contractor who is handling the renovation of my house.

i always tell people that if anything happened to me in my house, i am unable to contact outside due to poor mobile line and no landline.

to be frank, i am fairly disappointed with ms, i may not even consider to buy another property under them. The after sales support is so poor till i am getting frustrated

seems like alot of investors bought MR2... 1 year+ only 30%... 30% TM usually wont do anything on that area one... i rmb my taman achieve around 60% occupancy rate only suddenly they take action to install all the necessities for unifi before offering us their service... developer also din help us in the process of application at all...

how about broadband around the area? all not working well? they should at least install an enhancer near the location boost up the reception of mobile data....
*
i think it is a chicken and egg problem, without internet or good mobile coverage, ppl reluctant to move in. On the other perspective, due to lack of ppl staying here, service providers not willing to setup infra doh.gif

while somewhere near anggun, unifi were setup a few months after vp. if i remembered correctly, their vp time was similar to mr2, my place. So, i wonder why the other developers can do it, ms can't?
We kept sending applications to tm but no action at all. What else can we do?

there was a something like booster tower setup in mr1, but that is out of range for mr2. For my case, my maxis is like 3g with 2bar connectivity at my master room, and that's it, the rest of the area of my house is like 1bar to no signal.

wow... thats very bad... maxis one of the best coverage in malaysia... only 3g with 2 bar is really like staying back in kampung... booster is not expensive for one whole taman also one actually... this one should force MS to install it for MR2....

chicken and egg story... for TM... its about business only... they setup the infra... and if business not good to recover cost... they dont give a damn... for the meantime... bargaining power is at TM side... they can choose to ignore til they see the potential of good businesses.... actually its very torturing nowadays without high speed internet.... my tv basically rely on hypptv and tv box only... without unifi... i can just scroll fb on my phone...  sweat.gif

during the last agm, ms asked us to write to mcmc to setup the tower, not sure if the committee group did anything about this, but for sure ms does not intend to do anything to help us.

yes, without internet, i feel like just want to move out and sell my house here, but sadly, do not have a strong financial to go back to pj to buy another house. Well, was too young and naive back then when surveying for a house, take it as a lesson to study the background of developer and feedback from buyers, not going to buy any project under ms anymore, that's for sure

actually depends on how aggressive your committee members are also... so far i am very satisfy with the way my RA committee did their job... they push relentlessly and fight to get things done for our community... alot of professional who are knowledgeable enough to manage the RA are also on the board... the developer for my project also wash hand fast and didn't really bother about our matters anymore but alot of things my RA able to get the developer to do it...

just stay strong bro.... hard time will pass and good time will come soon... dont put too much hope on the developer... better ask your RA what are they actually doing now....
*
problem is we are not sure what the ra are doing. No update, no meeting, as if the neighborhood still running on auto pilot. We do not even have something like a contact list of the RA
i can say it was like sembang kencang during agm.

no offence to the ra if any of u reading this or if u r really helping the neighborhood, but please at least keep us informed with update. sigh.

you guys have group chat or facebook group? just post your questions and wait for them to reply there i guess... thats the most efficient way of communicating... usually thats what I do whenever I have some questions... my RA responded quite swiftly actually....
*
if you r talking my neighborhood, birch, specifically, none of those has been setup. The RA didn't mention anything or discuss anything about that.
