What's tasty, easy, and has lots of health benefits? Yoghurt!
"Have you noticed that the yoghurt section of most grocery stores has practically taken over the dairy aisle? It’s getting harder to find more traditional dairy foods, such as cottage cheese and sour cream, amid the sea of yoghurt options. But it only makes sense that a food with as many health benefits as yoghurt be given prime real estate in the supermarket.
And just what are the health benefits of yoghurt?
First off, your body needs to have a healthy amount of ''good'' bacteria in the digestive tract, and many yoghurts are made using active, good bacteria. One of the words you’ll be hearing more of in relation to yoghurt is ''probiotics.'' Probiotic, which literally means ''for life,'' refers to living organisms that can result in a health benefit when eaten in adequate amounts.
Some benefit:-
1) Yoghurt is good for the bones
2) Yoghurt packs as much protein as meat
3) Yoghurt curbs your hunger
4) Yoghurt may help you lose weight
5) Yoghurt may help lower blood pressure
6) Yoghurt is good for digestion
7) Yoghurt is packed with vitamins
8) Yoghurt helps fight bad breath
9) Yoghurt boosts the immune system"

What do you think about home made yoghurt?
Did you home made your own yoghurt?
Actually, it's not the yogurt but the probiotics that you ingest and repopulate your good gut bacteria which in-turn helps your body to absorb more nutrients for healthier living."Have you noticed that the yoghurt section of most grocery stores has practically taken over the dairy aisle? I'm careful with storebought yogurt or even yogurt mix like Biohealth. They still tend to have too much sugar in them that the sugar makes fungi grow faster than probiotics so whatever benefit that you could get from storebought yogurt is already negated by the sugar content in them.
Easier to swallow probiotic tablets and get better effects. Mind you, I do make my own yogurt although the culture is from an organic source from an Australian yogurt brand (Mundella). Less sweet and less sour at the same time.
