I'm eyeing MBSB actually. Their financial report has been encouraging.

Let's see if it's still at the current valuation after GE.

Rumour says MBSB is going to marry RHB liao

This rumor I heard since last 2 years.
Till now also no update/news.

MBSB is trading at PE 7.45.
EPF just acquired 3 million lots.

Just likes JIb GE announcement, .......takes many moons .

A very generous offer would be at PE 10.
MBSB would be priced at RM 3.67
32.4% Upside.

1) the deal may not happen or extended to do not know when
2) when it is announced, market price traded at fair price

You got a point.
Still without RHB acquisition also it's still cheap at current valuation with current earnings.

The thing is MBSB holds many risky assets ( loans ) without much co-laterals.

It operates as a non bank compliance

Got to give some discounts to your usual valuations maybe .......

Well the good thing about it is the payment are deducted from salary directly giving less chance to become NPL. Personal loans made up of big chunk of MBSB investment.
MBSB earnings are growing on a yoy basis.
