Maxis really that bad ? I can get double the speed at the same price if compare with UniFi 5MB.

I was thinking of that too, especially with the bundle of Astro+Maxis IPTV, but after reading the ping and routing issues and also speed cap on certain time, i decided to go for Unifi.. dont want to risk a 2 year contract..

Abit regret now, hopefully maxis will fix this as soon as possible  blink.gif

the issue had been going on for quite a while already.. go maxis forum and read up, they always say will resolve, but seems like no action taken or any improvement.

For gamers and round the clock p2p users, you should forget about Maxis Fiber. Period.

Don't subscribe hoping Maxis will fix it soon. Not going to happen anytime soon. The only solution to these problem is to invest heavily in bigger capacity and better peering. They don't have the numbers to do that, it's not bread and butter business for them, so not a priority to do it.

Save yourselves the trouble...

Some websites load very slow, I'm trying to download something from Sourceforge right now and I'm getting 3KB/s speed.

Recently I play Dota2 ping quite high ( around 250+ms), if I request to change to public ip it will reduce the latency or not?

Yes, once in a while there will be loading problems, some sites cannot be connected to, or some sites like Twitter & Facebook will be in plain text and a white background, with no layout.
