Not sure if this has been discussed else where, but I notice more and more people putting Ruby into their MainHand while Emerald into their offhand to maximize Bell damage. This make sense since Bell damage calculated only from Main hand. Having crazy high Base damage in Main hand and crazy high Crit Damage, Dex and Attack speed in offhand seem like best for bell damage.

Some 9x% Crit damage with LS that are less than 1k DPS are still kind of cheap in AH....

Life Per Spirit Spent (LpSS) may get buff in the future. It was 1 of my favorite (in fact, the only) sustain back then when I first kill Diablo. I like the idea of using skill also will heal you. However, towards end game, the number became too small to make sense. There was once I had a total of 172 LpSS (almost max) on both weapons and Transcedance. Say I spam mantra 50 spirit, turn into 8.6k life. Make sense if you have 20k HP. But now with 50k HP...

"I think buffing the numbers on things like LpSS and Life Regen is reasonable. I lean more towards LpSS.

Passive Life regen is good for allowing you to withstand some amount of damage over time, but when things go wrong and I’m close to death then my response is to back off and run in circles or run away until my regen has time to kick in. If I become overly reliant on this, then I may find myself running away a lot. This is not universally a bad thing, but it’s bad if it happens too much or it becomes the dominant way in which I play my Monk or Barbarian. (Ranged classes don’t suffer from this as much because they have tools to continue doing damage while minimizing how much damage they take)

If we were to buff LpSS instead, then when I’m low on life I still want to play carefully and conservatively but I still want to engage monsters, generate spirit, and then spend it to heal myself. I think LpSS has the potential to be a great stat, but the current tuning numbers are too low to be competitive in today’s environment. I think Life for Fury Spent could be tuned to be attractive as well. If I were low on Life (and healing were harder to come by then it is now), it would encourage me to do things that generated Fury and then spend that fury to heal myself."

Many interesting ideas:

- Achievement in "Discovery" of finding/identifying a set of Gears. Something like "Set" achievements but only works if you identify it, not just buying off AH and wear it.
- Removing MF bonus in Paragon, but add additional NV stack... (dont think Bliz will do this, Paragon level is something they really proud of)
- Salvaging - Different type of brimstone

i farm on mp8 with you yesterday, you seem doing good for survivability. heck i die once, u didnt even die.

but to answer that question, it depends on your current EHP, DPS and the MP you want to farm.

if you have dual LS, 450k400k EHP should be enough for MP8. 450k for single LS.
if you wanna farm mp10, need min 500k for dual LS. better at 550k.

on DPS, if you have less than 200k DPS, try avoid farming in MP10... may be u wont die often, but it just too slow...

BuyOut is around that price at the moment. If there is open bid, should be able to get it around 100mil. OK-lah.

Mine 80dex, 230vit also need 53mil!!! (but 9% IAS hehe, 8% prolly cost half the price )

ps: i think the new chest should boost your EHP tremendously... worth the investment! welcome bro to the RedTop gang...

for monk, 1 stat must go to Dex... and with double Vit to get more than 220 vit, no more slot available for AR and armor... in term of EHP

100vit > 80 resist > 300 armor

so, high vit Tal Rasha is not a bad idea...

a few millions?! i got rip-off then!

seriously, high vit > 250 are still not cheap... around 100mil, certainly not in 10mil...

so, ya, if u find TR chest with 250vit (and >80dex) and less than 10mil, i ll buy it off from you. buddy buddy price lar
