Hey guys, i quit diablo for quite some times since last year november. Plan to come back and play again. So i have 300m left in my stash but my current gears are outdated. 50k dps unbuffed and i see people doing like few hundred k dps unbuffed and can get up to 1mil crits. So here is my question, what will u do with the 300mil to build a monk according to current trend?

You should really come back! You are missing a lot of fun stuff. There's a couple of things you should try:

Objective 1 - Try TR/Bell build (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/7199912895) or ask our in-house TR master waklu

1. Get yourself a LS Skorn with dex and LS. Can get as low as a few millions.
2. Get Stone of Jordan (SOJ) with 2 spirit regeneration or more, if can, get with additional Bell damage. Trick to search for this in AH:
- Look for armor, dont set to Ring. Just any armor.
- Spirit regeneration = 2
- Damage vs Elite = 25%
- Check each SOJ for Increased Crit Change for Wave of Light... Just checked awhile ago, can get in 10mil.
- If budget problem, just get high Damage vs Elite (>29%) with anything else. Can get in 2 mil.
3. Get 4 Inna set; Randiance, Tempest, Vast, Belt for sweeping wind bonus. These are cheap, except Vast and Tempest that may cost a bit more.
4. You are good to go! Depending on you DPS, you probably can farm up to MP8. Farming MP5 is OK.

Objective 2 - Farm as many Demonic Essence as possible
1. Have fun with the mobility and ability to kill Elite fast!
2. Try Vault of the Assassin (VOTA) Act 2 for fast DE farming
3. Get like 1000 DE!

Objective 3 - Crafting
1. The most powerful gear in the game now is crafted item
2. You need to craft in sequence:
- Shoulder
- Bracer
- Gloves
- Amulet
3. Within 1000 de, you should be able to craft pretty decent top end gear! (No guaranty, just me personal experience)

Objective 4 - Upgrade your other gears
1. Now that you have those 4 decent crafts, use the rest of the gold to upgrade your Weapon, rings, etc

Side quest - Uber
1. Add a few monks/barbarian in first page, join the Uber
2. Craft a Hellfire ring!

300mil still a good budget...will not bring u to farm MP10 comfortably btw

Lol, i read that thread but the problem now is that i dont know what do i need hence i dont know what yo request. How about u guys inpect me later and let me know what do i need?

ya, similar, but LS is more effective in high DPS. LoH cannot get life from bell, for example, but LS can.

Sorry but whats bell? In MP10, all the map still remain the same, right?

for DPS higher then 100K then LS>LoH

Bell=Wave of Light, monk skill.. map still same.. I suggest you doing some reading about "new" monk skills/build

Bell = Wave of Light skill... Became Monk's signature skill with huge boost in damage... surpass even 7SS in effectiveness..

High MP only give you more Magic Find, XP, Gold and more chance to get Demonic Essence. Everything else is the same.

when reading Bell, I sure will remember one of the earlier video guide of Bell was made by one funny guy.. he always shouted BeLL Belll Belll in such funny way lmao!

Bro, let's think of what you want to achieve with this game?
I checked you had done with inferno. You know, ppl came here for wrong reason they wont last. We seen many.

I believe the reasons why many of the ppl here (at least for me) still playing are looking to challenge ourselves for:
1. Levelling paragon to 100
2. Gearing up to farm @ MP10.
3. To be able to walk like bosses in VoTa (pls refer to holycow video)
4. Defeat every MP10 bosses
5. And...?

Please get clear on the objectives. If not you don't know what you want and we also don't know what to advise.. lol
