got the tip-off from forum and asked my wife to go get myself a Galaxy Squad polybag. Mana tau she himself got poisoned and ended up buying few other polybags and the Friends City Cafe 3061 set for herself..

I hv a special room for my kids to play.  Prolly that room to be changed to Lego room

Actually can try to play lego with her. Let her build some polybag series 1st. Movie theme is the best to start becoz they know what/who is it (Batman, LOTR, Advenger). After that start to let her build some big set. Although maybe they choose the set you want, try not to talk so much and also don't comment so much of the way they build. Build wrong or they choose the set you want also nvm. Becoz the good part in Lego is you can "dismantle" it and "rebuild" it. Try to encourage her more than said her build wrong/ suck. (Now all my polybag & minifig build by my wife)

After that let her know more on Lego things. Let her know Lego is not only for children. How the adult "play" lego (MOC).

And let her know that this toy can pass to next generation. Is good to let children play lego/bricks then play Iphone  .

Although my wife not so support to buy (still consider expensive toy). But so far didn't angry or turn face when I bought. Just said "Control pls, don't over spend." 

I earn money become she spend... and left a few penny for me to pass my month.... wasn't that wonderful? 

Been quarreling about Lego recently... even want to buy a minifig pack also nag from morning till midnight...  Its very stressful....

Yeah, it's just plastic toys. Too petty to cause a strain in a relationship. But these stuff are not cheap. One just has to buy according to one's budget. Otherwise, you'll end up eating maggie mee for some time.

And in a relationship, it's best to communicate. Know what your partner is concerned about. Accept his/her strengths and weaknesses. Just don't expect him/her to accept you for who you are. Otherwise, you wouldn't be you. However, when it comes to money issues, it tends to get complicated.

Whatever it is, family members/loved ones come first before toys. They are the ones who would be with you for your entire life. Moth and rust destroy toys.

errrr when you earn and someone spend what you earn before you... that sound like... errrr pisau cukur... lol... in my last case... i dumb that girl before she dumb me...

only start collecting minifig now... until my other half say clear to upgrade... hahahaha... then can teach my kid about lego as well...
