Thanks for the pics abd. Considering that its only suppose to be completed in mid 2017, progress is very decent

Alexng, if you want I can set up a closed FB group for general chit chat, but I'm not sure many will join at present time. The desire to be part of one will probably only pick up traction closer to completion date, as pointed out by ABD before.

Haha Goo2. Still trying to digest how coincidental it is that our units are in such close proximity! Was really nice having you as company throughout the CNY meet. Looking forward to other meet ups!

Oh by the way guys, I spoke to the CEO and he told me some interesting things like (OK some of which I will not share, especially on a public forum, to safeguard CEO's privacy):

(1) He's pushing the speed of construction, workers work till 10pm - he appears to be very optimistic that construction will be completed before the expected Aug 2017 deadline - I think most of us agree especially after looking at all the monthly progress photos

(2) Tago was offered by the squatters to purchase the Lands across the road at a ridiculous price of RM450psqft! - so I guess we will have to wait a little longer for more development to shape up since landowners are holding out for sky high prices.

(3) Azaran Hill will be sold at RM650k when refurbishment is completed? Not sure if anyone is interested here.

(4) CEO plans to install state-of-the-art security cameras like those utilised by the immigration which snap photos of people as they walk by or something? I'm no expert on the field of security but its very reassuring coming from the Big Man himself!

And general feel from speaking to the CEO is he cares deeply about this Project and those who've trusted his Company enough to plonk their hard earned money on a unit here. Hence, as he told me, he wanted to hold the CNY do last Saturday to show people that he cared. Bravo! tongue.gif

Anyone has insight or latest news over the past few months about the widening of Jalan Segambut? Noticed the mosque was moved deeper inside (adjacent to Laman Damaisari). Is it still happening? :/

Because according to Verdana's brochure, they say that its on track to be completed by 2015. http://www.verdana.com.my/brochure/verdanabrochure.pdf.

But I don't see any works being carried out!

Also, I went to the R22 showroom to nose around/kepo. Sales agent told me UEM will extend Jalan Kiara 4 all the way up until (Dutamas? Forgot, sorry). But later he conceded approval was only given to extend Jalan Kiara 4 up until their development. But they're working on their proposed access road all the way up until (wherever it was). Fingers crossed lol.

Jalan Kiara 4 would likely be built by developers all the way to Jalan Duta Kiara. I'm no expert but I think DBKL can impose such condition. But then what is their budget for?

Here's how I think Mont Kiara will become after some time, a bit like a grid on the western side. And they should put some grand looking signage on the North, East, South entrances to differentiate themselves from the other 'Kiara's LOL  tongue.gif

Personally I think the North entrance will look quite grand and captivating as one drives between the two towering over 50-storey TWY and TWY 2 to enter Mont Kiara.

Such a thoroughly researched answer! And loving the map! I'm now convinced A.B.D stands for Amazingly Brilliant Dude haha. I kid.

Maybe we should write to the Segambut MP to ask him to shed some light on the progress for Phase B. I recall him pushing for the road widening project to be completed many many moons ago. I'm pretty sure many people would love to know what's happening.

Haha yeah! thumbup.gif It's modern/luxury concept should mean that the condo will be able to last the test of time. So when new condos start popping up around the neighbourhood in the future, Anjali will hopefully be still competitive and comparable to its unborn cousins lol.

Spoke to the sales agent from Sunrise about Sefina MK. He tells me that they own most of the land along the kampung road stretch. They'll be developing deeper and deeper into our area over the years.

Lol ya actually I shouldn't get people's hopes up! I simply whack only but I recall that the SAs were whispering that it's likely they will complete before time. My friends in construction who've seen the pictures say its looking good. So little happy dance here from me! rclxm9.gif

Even if "vp" as per the spa is on time, in my case, when i get my keys, there's a chance I won't get a semi furnished unit yet. I'm not sure about others but I was asked to sign a supplemental letter which states that tago will have 6 months after VP to enter into my unit to install the promised furnishings. Not sure if others got that. It's an odd situation to say the least. Which is why I'm hoping spa vp is actually delivered alil earlier than stated so that the grace period of 6 mths according to the letter falls in line with the spa deadline for completion... one way or the other, i'm hoping i get to just ignore the letter altogether and get my keys with the furnishings installed. *fingers toes crossed*

Mmm. I guess there's logic in that as well - seeing a bare unit will help residents spot defects that may otherwise be hidden by the furnishings. But the whole idea behind the letter, which I understand from a friend is common practice in the industry, is obviously to protect the developer from the first batch buyers' entitlement to LAD-lah in case its not delivered on time or if there are defects in the installation of the furnishings (complaints of which will instead be directed to the actual suppliers who install the bits and bobs etc).

Brazo, I'm actually planning to do a library/study with a wall bed (pull out bed). Just need to check with contractor if the wall that is shared with the living room needs reinforcement or not.
