Have you guys go and have a look at Mazda3 thread? They were just like many of us in this thread during the early 2013 when we were sharing rumors and guessing the specs of what we gonna get with our Mazda6.
Its quite fun waiting for the new car! If the Mazda3 2.5L hatchback is available it would be great... |

QUOTE(Ryosuke_82 @ Jan 20 2014, 06:11 PM) Hi guys, wanna ask for M6 2.0, can the GPS navigation be add-on without changing the default TFT LCD unit e.g. just install the GPS software without any hardware modification? If yes, what is the cost for add-on? I think this has been answered before. If i am not mistaken it cannot be done. The NAVI button is still there but is blanked off. But the headunit with sat nav function can surely be retrofitted from either CX5 or Mazda6 2.5.This will help me decide whether to go ahead with M6 2.0 or others coz I really need the navigation to works... |

Check this out! The only thing I'm a bit weary is the front lip as our overhang is very looooooooooong and the even the standard front lip scraping the car park ground already. Even Mazda themself left the front-most section of the lip unpainted. They should cut the middle part like the BMW bumper. Envy looking at my fren lowered his E60 with not even a single finger can slip through the gap and yet can get away with the car park ramp.

QUOTE(sw1314 @ Jan 30 2014, 06:33 PM) Coincidentally I experienced my first puncture with Mazda6 last Tuesday. Got really chicken out luckily the Hyundai service centre near my office doubled up as a tyre shop. It is not a good feeling knowing that there's no spare tyre to back you up.But bro, if you really want to have the spare tyre, head to GS Auto. RM2,000 buys you the space saver tyre and the spare tyre housing. But mahal laa... |

QUOTE(danielthw @ Feb 5 2014, 02:26 PM) Hi. Has anyone encountered this issue whereby the bluetooth module refuses to start up? I drive a M6 2.0. I searched online and an owner from the States encountered the same predicament. Tried narrowing down to malaysian searches to no avail. It seems the workaround is to disconnect the car battery temporarily to hard reset the head unit. Car is barely 2 months old. Gonna send to bermaz Glenmarie this Saturday to have it diagnosed. Hope the solution is just a firmware upgrade away. The head unit hasn't exactly impressed me so far. Slow loading times and such. Hmm interesting. Mine does not work sometimes. When it happen the phone call won't go the Head unit, songs also won't play. Is this the early symptom before it fully stop?http://roundelmike.com/2013/09/2014-mazda6...topped-working/ |

sole unit brought by Bermaz for evaluation. If only Malaysia is modern enough, we can already drive this beauty which can achieve 4.9L/100km. |

QUOTE(danielthw @ Feb 6 2014, 09:47 AM) Not sure but I gather from forums the head unit's problematic. I guess I'm one of the unlucky few to have this issue since no one else has brought this up in Malaysia. And don't get me started on the wind noise.. So embarrassing for an expensive car. Even my polo tsi is more refined and problem free. Zzz Oh well...the wind noise. Last week my officemate said "Hey kereta ko ada whistling noise at pintu belakang!" |

Just a noob question. Can we polish the car with Tribos in place? Will polishing de-coat the car?

QUOTE(meltsh @ Feb 17 2014, 05:57 PM) Polishing will definitely remove the tribos coating...but does the tribos help u achieving what u want? Lol... I also don't know what I got with Tribos. Almost a year of driving this car now, the front part is already scattered with stone chips and debris damage. The whole section become rough now. So what should I do? I know polishing will remove those imperfection, but what should I do after that? |

QUOTE(bchan87 @ Mar 6 2014, 06:26 PM) Does anyone with a 2.5L feel that the engine revs jumps a bit on idle? Mine fluctuates between 750rpm slowly dropping down to about 500rpm and the car starts to judder a bit, then jumps back up to 750rpm. I know the compressor kicking in will lower the revs... but not so gradually right? It's usually more instant? 2.0 also has this issue. It is very slight shake that hard to describe. It happen either during idle or at a very low speed. Also, even if its stable at 750rpm, I can feel the car shake a lil bit sort of every 5-10 seconds.... Currently almost 800km. Will get the SC to have a look and also since its having an oil change at 1000km, hopefully would help. I find the rev's a little bit too low.. The start-stop system feels very shaky compared to the demo unit I used for test drive |

Apparently 225/55 R17 is a special size tyre and not even listed in Toyo website for T1 Sport model. Ended installed it as GS Auto.
While i was there, i decided to install the illuminated door sill plate, but decided not to get the auto door lock and auto fold mirror. These 3 accessories will easily totalled 1000 combined. |

QUOTE(Biskut coklat @ Mar 30 2014, 11:33 AM) Mine is toyo also. How much they charge per donut ya? Also how much for auto fold window and auto lock the quote u?thanks bro The toyo 225/55 r17 is rm580 apiece at GS. Can't quite remember the price of auto fold and auto lock, if I'm not mistaken they around 350.There are really A LOT of mazda6 and cx-5 at GS getting these two things fitted. You need to take out the door trim to fit these as well as pulling out the plastic panel near the door aperture for wiring. |

QUOTE(ska86 @ Apr 1 2014, 12:58 AM) u all changed the original tyre?? There are not many tire maker which has this size. I wanted a particular Yokohama tyre but no size. The better way is to go for standard tyre size but may need to change rims.i find a bit noisy for the original tyre, thinking of to change it... any recommend? Anyhow, the GS mechanics said I finished my tyre early on the shoulder instead at the centre because the tyres are slighly under inflated (set by SC) so it is quiter, softer and grip better. |

QUOTE(pwnjustdoit @ Jun 7 2014, 12:02 AM) Thanks for recommendation. Collected car and just reach Kuantan. Very impress for car handling when compare with accord previous model. Love it and tomorrow will wash and put the wax on for paint protection. GS Auto is selling the space saver tyre for 800 if I am not mistaken. But this only the tyre, at this price there's no new housing for the tyre.SA told me that the spare tire and mold for put spare tire will available at the end of this year. However with price around 2000 RM seem to high for temporally spare tire. Of any people have better supply source kindly let me know. Cheers! |
