It seems Nillkin Crystal HD SP is quite easy to get scratches...

Anyone here know who/where is selling Ringke Slim N4 Casing and also N4 SP(not Nillkin)?

Thanks.

Finally managed to snap some shots of my screen protector's condition on my N4 in order to post my reply laugh.gif

And yes, it is SGP's Oleophobic Screen Protector cry.gif

Given it's price, it's pretty terrible in terms of resisting against hairline scratches. I usually put my phone in pocket or bag separately with anything else. Never wiped the screen with my clothes except microfiber clothes at home which I wash weekly with hot water. So seriously speaking, I don't even know where did those scratches come from.

That's retarded already for an expensive SP.

As for the Nillkin Clear HD SP, I also don't know where those scratches come from. It's in my pocket and table(screen facing up) most of the time.

Also, anyone using Matte SP here would want to share their experiences?
*
It's damn sad actually. It's my first time ever spending so much on a screen protector. Usually I'll just stick with those RM3 ones and they scratch real easily sweat.gif

But at this rate, SGP doesn't seem to live up its name at its price and the amount of time taken to scratch cry.gif

Would love to hear SGP Ultra Crystal's user feedback tho, as my friend's Ultra Crystal SP doesn't seem to be as worse as mine rclxub.gif

This. When I first got my phone, a scratch already appeared on my default SP after roughly one hour of usage (initially it wasn't there). Seriously all the scratches came unknowingly and I don't even know where did I got them from.

if for me I'll register with LG Singapore because they will honor the warranty for playstore set.
*
Initially LG Singapore does indeed posted at their Facebook that they will honour US Playstore Sets. But they took it down not long later (I'm not gonna backtrack and look for the original LG Singapore post as I couldn't even remember when it is laugh.gif) Nevermind found it: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=101...&type=1&theater tongue.gif

But here's some replies that they made last month:

https://www.facebook.com/lgsingapore/posts/10151456543116093

I don't think they'll honour non-local (Singapore) sets.

*
How many days it takes for your order to arrive?

sweat.gif How terrible is the packaging? Any photos? Just ordered from them too today.

As for the installation maybe you can refer to the video here on their website. Never tried wet application too laugh.gif

bought it together with my friend's N7 SP, around a month ago, 3-4 weeks i guess. how terrible ah?  hmm.gif

they sent it in just an envelope and just placed everything you ordered inside. my friend's N7 SP got small tears/flips, don't think he's gonna use it anyways. mine, the front and back SP got stucked together in one piece, have to tear them up pretty hard. the front one was okay, the back one already has air bubbles everywhere.

certainly hopes that that after the installation would help clear up the bubbles and stuff. got dust and tiny bits of stuff stuck already  ohmy.gif will upload pictures soon, mine only tho, my friend's one in Cyberjaya, just left there.
*
Damn, i hope mine comes as workable pieces sweat.gif

But given it price, I guess we can't really complain.. sad.gif

Welcome to the club. Dont forget to unlock it smile.gif
*
If you're planning to root your device in the future, yup, just unlock it first before doing anything as it'll perform a full wipe upon unlocking laugh.gif

After unlocking you can pretty much leave it as-it-is or root/ROM/etc.

Any good profiler for android?

You can use Tasker for profiling too. Switching to certain profile based on predefined conditions (eg. Time of day, location, etc.)

I've been seeing quite a few newbies using the 1 click method to root, flash & etc2 modding.
I highly suggest you guys to learn the basic method to install adb & some of it's commands. It'll be useful in case your devices bricked.
It's fairly easy to repair software brick with android devices (provided you have unlocked bootloader of course).
*
This. Tools are made for our conveniences, not for us to completely skip the basics which might even help us in the future.

Anyone have working ways to bypass region pricing? It's $1.99 on the states but $2.86 here rclxub.gif

Screw discriminate pricing despite that it's already darn expensive after conversions cry.gif

Tried market enablers, VPN, changing my Google Account to US but to no avail. sad.gif

I'll give you 1 case.
1 of my friend bought Nexus 4 around same time as me.That time Nexus 4 shipped with Android 4.2.Majority of the rooting tools were not updated to 4.2.1.So when my friend updated his Nexus 4 he cannot unlock & root because he had to wait for the tools to be updated to support latest version of Android even though the rooting/flashing method remains the same.

Honestly for me the tools like "Nexus 4 All in 1 Toolkit" contains too much buttons & whatnot which confuse me sometimes.
I rather type words in command prompt than click 10 buttons that I'm not exactly sure what it'll do.

*
Agreed nod.gif
Moreover by doing things manually, we could actually learn what's the underlying concepts or commands that are used to unlock/flash/root the device and these knowledge might come in handy someday.

hmm.gif Less than RM3 difference also rclxub.gif ? BTW, was charged USD 1.99 at Play Store.  brows.gif

Yeah but still, I don't like it when they priced it higher for us when the currency is already going against us tongue.gif icon_question.gif

The price shown to you was $1.99 before checkout? Or $2.86.

Edit: doh.gif Just went to try and checkout, indeed it charges $1.99 instead of $2.86. Got trolled by Google twice. Previously another case was; the price shown at $1.99 but I was charged $2.14 instead rclxub.gif

Does this mean that we have to cancel the higher priced transaction and retry later for the listed discount price?  hmm.gif
*
QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Mar 29 2013, 02:16 PM)
how to make it $1.99?
*
No idea about that. If I'm not mistaken, I paid $1.99 during checkout because my Credit Card was linked with an U.S. Address instead of my home (Malaysia) address. As I recalled previously during my second SwiftKey purchase, the listed price was $2.14 instead of $1.99 (if accessed to US store without logging in); and during checkout I paid $2.26. That time my CC was still linked to my Malaysia address.

How to link CC with US address ya?  unsure.gif
*
http://wallet.google.com/

Remove your existing CC and re-add it using your card details but US address instead (I obtained US address via HopShopGo with my PayPal account).

And somehow my Play Store (accessed via Web without VPN or anything) became US' version of Play Store drool.gif

I don't even know which is the reason that caused it as I've tried various methods just now.. I guess it might be after I changed my Google Account Country to United States.
