Note #1: Please request friends through Miiverse so that the other party gets notified (Launch Miiverse, click on User Menu, select Search Users, enter NNID)
Note #2: if grouping up with LYN hunters, please password protect rooms so that randoms don't pop in. our default password is LYN
Note #3: Do send Guild Cards to your fellow hunters as you enter the Port Tanzia. To send - Press Select, under the Info Tab click Guild Card, and choose Send.

there's a gang that meets up in PJ to adhoc, but they adhoc the JP version. you guys can arrange to meet up and adhoc

PJ..... so far. Guess I could arrange one for people around Ampang/Cheras, if there is any..
and of course not JP version. US version.

inb4 lazy to play the whole game again. wish jp save game can transfer to u.s. game then is different story.

the game looks fantastic in HD btw and the online is a time sinker, so easy to cooperate now especially with voice chat

The HD is really amazing and the 3DS not having the online multiplayer is really something that isn't cool at all..
WiiU for just Monster Hunter..........i'm not really sure. How much is the WiiU now

i sank in more than a thousand hours in MH3 (although at the end it became more of a chatting rather than hunting thing), so i know investing in wii-u for mh is worthwhile. also quite sure nintendo will come out with some good wii-u games

where got...you have enough resources to start a WiiU 3DS Monster Hunter Gangster Village

Just finished one session of MH on the 3DS. Tears of loneliness drop when I see people adding each other on MIiverse to hunt together.


Me, i hunt alone for hours. Forever alone.

Haih sucks that 3ds version doesnt have online play I'm staying in Shah Alam and I don't know anyway one here that plays MH.

Is it only me or what that I can't online at all on wii u. which stops me from going online in mh3u...

Nooooooo! It looks like there will be maintenance on Tuesday for 6 hours(Monday US time).
That day will be the day I got my Wii U and Monster Hunter

maintenance is from midnight onwards you won't be able to do update. not sure whether you can play the game without the initial update

Mine is a 2nd hand Wii U, so probably got the update already
Midnight is the time when I play my games on week days

when you start the game, you need to go through quite a fair bit of tutorial. after that you can jump online the server downtime is only one hour anyway

juwels probably meant the mh game update 1.01

anyway the system also had a recent update which the previous owner may not have performed.

i afraid my newbie-ness affect everyone.

even Guild Card dunno how to Send. greyed out option in menu.

Anyone near to Hospital Ampang? Can gather at MCD Pandan Mewah for some Monster Hunting on the 3DS.

Guild Cards are good for several things - the more you play with players who you have registered Guild Cards with, the more "partnership points" you gain. You will get some tickets from the Drunk Man at Port Tanzia, and these tickets can be exchanged with goodies (in mhp3 you can exchange for gems!!!)

You can also "spy" what your registered mates are doing by looking at their Guild Cards. to access this, press Minus at Port Tanzia, click Guild Card, click the last option (Card List or something like that). Select the Card you want to scrutinize, and press L/R to turn pages.
