My write up is for the Note 2, but I'm certain a lot of the basic information applies across all Android devices.

mudkipryan94 may put up in his post but I will request that I be acknowledged as the author, or he may link directly to my post 4.

For apps, see post 7 on Note 2 thread.

I also recommend Galaxy S, SII and S3 thread page 1 they have a lot of links to lots of apps.

this one depends on the charger... 2A charger charges faster than 1A. and naturally even faster than 0.7A charger.

so you need to take a look at the charger and see what was supplied.

Wah....9 to 5 on the dot???

See mydragoon's response. However, even though the charger can output more amps, your phone's charging circuit needs to be able to suck it in as well. If the phone's circuitry limits incoming current to, say, 0.7A or 1.0A, getting a higher A charger will not help.

i will look at my back of charger after my phone get fully charged.

so, 2A charger is the fastest? if i buy 2A charger, will it damage my battery life? no?

this battery thingy is very subjective.

but basically, if the battery is charged at fast rate, it will make the battery become warmer than normal (i'm trying to avoid the word 'hot'). and its not good that the battery stays 'warm'. it reduces the battery life.

so, slow charging is supposed to be better. but fact is, no one wants to wait 8 hours for the battery to be charged (big battery plus low A charger can do this). so, its a balance.

if i'm not mistaken, our resident guru benny888 have been using the 2A ipad charger for all his devices.

there's an apps that is being used by the S3 and note2 users to gauge the charging current. you can try to check out the page 1 of those phone threadsand see if there's a link. it's called GCC -- Galaxy Charge Current. or something like that. might work on your phone. <-- if it works, maybe TS can also then put a link on s3 mini's page 1. biggrin.gif

A useful info for lithium batteries:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1391186

meaning we should left battery around 10-20% and charge to full in order for it to stays healthy longer and lasts longer?

Interesting. Master sklchan has also said not to let Li Ion batteries drop below 10%.

thats mean advisable to charge around 10% to full in order to give battery life to longest?

but some say charge at around 50%? http://blogs.tribune.com.pk/story/15555/ha...op-charging-it/

* Never discharge Lithium-ion battery completely; try to charge more often up to 90%.
* A random or partial charge is fine. Lithium-ion does not need a full charge.
* Avoid ultra-fast chargers.
* If the charger allows, lower the charge voltage limit to prolong battery life. Keep the charger voltage as low as possible if your charger has this option.
* Keep the battery cool. Avoid hot cars, windowsills, blanket tops.
* High heat exposure and a permanently fully-charged batteries cause short battery life in laptops.
* Remove the battery from a laptop when used on the power grid (though impractical).

I do not know, as no manufacturer has actually published a good, clear guide on how to treat batteries. Almost all the material are from places like what you've been posting, and even in published work on solar charging, they do not provide extensive detail on Li-ions.

Anyway, as long as your battery can last you 1 whole day of normal use, there is no need to worry. The NovaThor CPU is supposed to be the best power-to-watt ratio device among the current generation of CPUs.

Games , I recommend THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN thumbup.gif (recommended)

Apps , I recommend .....Aptoide , it's like a black mart , but of cos it's not a black mart.

Wanna know how to install Aptoide ? YouTube it.

It won't damage or spoil or destroy your phone ( REMIND : IT'S NOT A BLACK MART , IT'S APTOIDE)

U can find it in the google play store.

You can download all the free apps or games in Aptoide.

Highly recommend THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN & APTOIDE !

P/S : I am using Aptoide too.
