SGX544 clock at 286MHz is not fast enuf for FHD display, thats y now they release MTK6589T clocked at 1.5GHz with 544 GPU clocked at 357MHz, they claimed it make FHD run smooth, UMI X2 is one of the phone which using it now, waiting for it to arrived and we will know later

Which one faster than S4?

If u compare to quadcore version u can get those phone with same processor, for octa-core, no idea, but lenovo K900 will be a good choice

I don't think any of these MTK6589 quad core A7 processor faster than the one used in s4 in octo-core version( which use two quad core,one quad-core A15 and change it to more power saving and less powerful quad core A7 alternatively when using app that consume less CPU power.

Also, the international version use quad-core Krait which is on the same par with A15 cpu. So no, MTK6589T which use 1.5Ghz quad-core A7 will be a lot more slower compared to A15 and Krait.

I read here somewhere that 1.2GHz A7 is only like near 1.0Ghz A9 or less. And of course it will be A LOT MORE slower compared to A15 and Krait.

Don't just think that it's on par with S4 just because it both have quad-core...

don't think any other cpu for now that can win against the one used in S4

MTK6589 is about 70% of S3 performance. so with MTK6589t it might be be able to be on par with S3 cpu.
but 1 thing for sure, it is faster than any dual core cpu out there.

I have a tablet using A9 dual core and 1GB RAM and phone A7 quad core 1GB RAM. Both also 720P display. Can really notice the performance different. Even Antutu score for the A9 manage to get half of A7 score.

Maybe it's the inferior SGX531 GPU used for dual core A9 MTK6577 version compared to SGX544 in the quad core A7 MTK6589 version. I wonder why they don't pair the superior SGX544 GPU with dual core A9, is it to cut cost or something.

i've check back that my tablet is not updated with the latest antutu. after update the tablet got 8.5k score vs 13k score of A7

i'm using ZP980 now. overall i would said it is better than my galaxy tab 2 7.0 (sold) performance. yes, indeed the processor is quad core A7 and only clocked at 1.2gh (until up to date still cannot overclock yet....) but i can said the overall performance is Great! although everyone commented this processor is weak or so on to handle FHD display but I think this phone work pretty well.

About gaming, i not sure, so far, i only tested Raging thunder II, Samurai II: Vengeance, ShadowGun. All running smoothly. I really think this phone worth for every bucks you spent!! and not over price like other BRANDED brand.

About review, I'm not professional reviewer, so I will not do a full review on this phone. I'm just a normal people that use the smart phone for daily used such as call, messaging, browsing, gaming.
