hahahaha a smartphone that iOcean x7 sell at RMB999 (RM450) and similar phone now sell at RM930 with similar spec (MTK6589 quadcore, etc), and you say okay.... is my bad >< when the price is RM930, add RM110 you can get Newman N2 which is running Exynos 4412 quadcores with adreno GPU which is much more power, I just wonder what make those MTK6589 quadcores strength in the market if is NOT THE PRICE, the performance? lol.....

vision set clear, down to the K900 (if $480) in mind as simple as it!

About Newman n2,it has 1gb ram as well, 720p screen, but the price is higher.

I'm currently using galaxy note 1, which has 1gb ram ,720p screen, 2500mah battery, 1.40GHz Exynos 4210 dual core
So the Next China phone I'm looking should be 1080p screen, 2gb ram, 2500mah ++, a lot cheaper than RRP 2299, preferably below 1.2k, at least mtk 6589 quad core.

Rockchip RK3188 what phone/tab using ?

If we infer that MTK's own published data show that it performs like a Tegra 3, and Exynos beats Tegra 3, so we can infer that RK3188 should beat MTK quadcore.

Don't know if any phones have it, but several tablets do. There was this guy faifai94 who started a thread last week for a tablet he bought based on this chip.
