QUOTE(Dyson Jin @ Mar 22 2013, 10:54 AM) XZ indeed is a great phone..great design.. good at everything...but the battery heat up very fast...5minits on fb nia..straight hot..hahaha.. but its cold down very fast too when u not using it.. and also the the battery drain very fast..10minits fb,5% gone..but we can't do anything about it..coz it is a HIGH TECH phone.. other than that..LED NOTIFICATION work when STAMINA MODE is not on.. just try it yesterday.. gonna get 16gb sd card and SP for my XZ..hehe 5% drain on 10 mins FB is high. Even on 3G/H+ browsing, it is usually within 15-20%/hour on mine With such a high usage, you probably have other apps wakelocks being in operation too. You can DO A LOT of things to reduce this high battery usage. Start by studying your wakelocks using betterbatterystats app This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 22 2013, 11:13 AM

QUOTE(redrum77 @ Mar 22 2013, 11:51 AM) Any significant difference in using a between CLASS 6 and CLASS 10 sd card ? The main difference is in writing speed 6 MB/s ( class 6) vs 10 MB/s ( class 10) Price difference is so minimal these days, why even want to buy class 6 ?

This is a good MOD : you get expanded toggle listing in taskbar and just a simple Close ALL button to swipe away all open apps instead of swiping it one by one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2202383

QUOTE(mcchin @ Mar 24 2013, 12:25 PM) as some one with no intention to root or yet to understand the terminology... odex, deodex blalala (ie: an ignorant person) I make do wit power toggle app » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « as tempting as it is i still regard the IP rating as a last line defense so I rather not expose to water unless needed btw anyone tested power bank with the sony own suppplied cable today found out it cant charge with the power bank cable is okay summary for charging with power bank powerbank cable = okay Sony cable = NG Samsung Cable = NG What powerbank are you using All my HTC, Sony, Motorola, Samsung cables can charge . I am using yoobao 4800mAh n 11200mAh models

QUOTE(mwu @ Mar 25 2013, 07:29 AM) I went through a few Sony centre n check the version they r selling for Xperia ZL, n all r C6502 model, their storekeeper also confirm that that's a LTE version, but I check the phone spec online n I thought only C6503 comes v LTE. So anyone that purchase ZL from Sony centre are u able to use the LTE? All MSIAN versions are C6502 non LTE Only AP sets C6503 are LTE You can see it yourself from the box. LTE models has a big LTE sticker n check model number We have several users who bought from Sony C6502 confirmed no LTE enabled This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 25 2013, 08:31 AM

QUOTE(kepalaparut @ Mar 25 2013, 01:42 PM) ok this is my finding. take photo normally (as in vertical) and post it via "share" and choose 'Facebook for Xperia' then the uploaded photo will be uploaded normally (as in vertical). but post it via "share" button and choose normal 'Facebook' will render the photo uploaded horizontally in FB. annoying.... I choose Facebook and not Facebook for Xperia

QUOTE(Archer17 @ Mar 25 2013, 03:46 PM) really? last night before i went to sleep my battery is 30% this morning i woke up and check left 3% only Use betterbatterystats next time to check what wakelocks causing this. Google what this app function n how to analyse the reports. With 3g on, WiFi off My phone without fail every day overnight 7-9 hours the battery level if say at 100% Will remain 100%. There were only few days I got a reduction of 2-3%. I have been using this phone 3 weeks already. At 100% till now estimated standby time is around 4 days 20+ hours n this will reduce with battery level drop This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 25 2013, 04:07 PM

QUOTE(psyeo @ Mar 26 2013, 10:17 AM) It is a form of control implemented by Sony, you can try the usb charging adapter for PS Vita/ PSP go I have absolutely no problems charging it using both my Yoobao YB602 ( 4800mAh) and YB 642 ( 11200mAh) . And I use different cables too ( i have so many types ) - sometimes HTC, Sony, Samsung and Motorola I have another generic unit ( Slim Powerbank 20000 mAh - this one I do have problems at times - I can only use HTC, Samsung cables and it supplied cables to charge the phone. Anyway this is one lousy powerbank - it discharges off much faster than Yoobao and I doubt is listed 20000 mAh specs,. But no complains since is very much cheaper than the Yoobao This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 26 2013, 10:32 AM

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 26 2013, 10:57 AM) i've saw many case of fake powerbank in internet, do you got open the case inside got some nuts or not Yoobao - I know there are fakes and mine is definitely original. Both has serves me well past 2+ years As for the slim powerbank - it is only a cheap generic type ( cost me only RM 98+) and frankly I don't expect top notch performance either for that price. I bought it just to compare with the Yoobao. I will just throw it away the day it breaks down
